Liberty IT Solutions Awarded $3.9MM Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) Server Task Order

Liberty IT Solutions, LLC, that specializes in Health Information Technology, has been awarded a $3.9 million task order by the Department of Veterans Affairs to sustain the existing RTLS platform. RTLS is a system of systems designed to electronically track medical equipment, supplies and instruments. It also has the ability to locate staff or patients inside VA hospitals.
RTLS works by integrating independent systems such as Asset Tracking, Cardiac Catheterization Lab Supply Tracking, Sterile Processing Workflow, and Temperature monitoring. Liberty and partner, Perspecta, will maintain the efficiency and integrity of the current RTLS platform while making updates and patches to maintain RTLS as a secure and reliable platform for use across the VA.
