Old Trapper Partners with the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer

Old Trapper Beef Jerky will serve as the presenting sponsor for the Portland Timbers' 2019 preseason matches in Costa Rica and the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona.

As part of the sponsorship, match attendees and television viewers will also see the Old Trapper logo prominently displayed throughout the 2019 season on the awning in the northwest corner of Providence Park — the Timbers' home field. A Natural Partnership

A partnership between the Oregon-born beef jerky brand and the state's most dynamic professional sports team, which embarks on its ninth season in Major League Soccer in 2019 after advancing to its second MLS Cup in four seasons in 2018, seemed like a natural fit to Robert Leary, Old Trapper's Director of Marketing and Communications.
