Franklin County Visitors Bureau Recommends Heritage Christmas House Tour in Greencastle PA

Franklin County Visitors Bureau recommends the 2019 Heritage Christmas Home Tour on December 8, from 1 PM to 5 PM. The tour, organized by the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, is sponsored by Antrim Insurance Agency, Inc. and features five homes and one church. These are: the Stenger home at 216 Moss Spring Ave.; the Geiger home at 6700 Guitner Rd; the Thatcher home at 2201 Buchanan Trl. W.; White Hall Manor located at 501 E. Baltimore St.; and the Hughey-Koch at 815 Twin Dr. (Chambersburg). Participants can visit the homes in any order and are invited to stop by Ebenezer United Brethren Church at 3611 Williamson Rd. for refreshments.

PitaPre office has prepared two types of official badges, namely, "Business Badge" and "Official Concierge Badge," to reward users who meet certain conditions. Through the adoption of the official badges, PitaPre will serve ever-diversifying user needs in selecting a gift.

Business Badge
A business badge will be rewarded to companies' official accounts that are used by their PitaPre service team as well as fans and ambassadors of their products and services. PitaPre rewards the badge to such accounts that offer extensive information about services and products that only their companies can provide, and that make gift suggestions with special episodes. A light blue badge will be shown next to the user name.

Official Concierge Badge
An official concierge badge will be rewarded to accounts that meet certain conditions and make suggestions that are considerate to users who ask for advice. PitaPre will reward the badge to various users including those with a strong presence on Instagram and other social networking services, and experts of a specific genre. A gold badge will be shown next to the user name.

Future vision
Placing its first priority on being the service that enables users to select a present from a "receiver-first" perspective, PitaPre generates synergies with various services and platforms. Women In Trucking Call for Nominations: 2020 Driver of the Year Award

Women In Trucking Association (WIT) and Walmart are seeking nominations for the inaugural Women In Trucking Female Driver of the Year award. Continue reading.

The goal of WIT's Female Driver of the Year award is to recognize outstanding female professional drivers who lead the industry in safety standards while actively work to enhance the public image of the trucking industry. The grand prize winner will be chosen based on safety record, impact on the industry's image and positive community contributions.

"Celebrating women's accomplishments is a key aspect of our mission," says Ellen Voie, WIT president and CEO. "We're thrilled to honor an outstanding female driver with this new award."

The contest is open to any female driver or contractor who has safely driven one million consecutive, accident-free miles. A driver must be nominated by the motor carrier by which she is currently leased to or employed. The nominee must have been employed by or leased to and driving for her current trucking company employer for the past three years.

The inaugural award will be presented to a deserving driver at the 2020 Salute to Women Behind the Wheel event at the Mid America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky. on Friday, March 27. The grand prize winner will be chosen based on her safety record, positive community contributions, and impact on the public image of the trucking industry. She will receive a plaque, commemorative ring and more.
