Actress Debrianna Mansini, known for her role as FRAN in Better Call Saul, brings her solo show, The Meatball Chronicles, to Los Angeles this March. Mansini joins a list of stellar performers celebrating dance, musical plays and dramas and comedies for her first appearance in The Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival (LAWTF). The Meatball Chronicles is part of the festival's theme "I,Woman." The show follows her journey of self discovery, explores her complex relationship to her mother and to men, all while preparing her immigrant Italian family's recipe for a meatball. "Food is life," says the Italian actress, "and so much history is passed in the kitchen, around the table and through our family recipes."
This year marks the festival's 26th year of producing well over 500 extraordinary multicultural and multidisciplinary solo performers from around the globe. The longest-running Annual Solo Festival for women in Los Angeles, LAWTF will take place March 22-24, 2019 at Theatre 68, 5112 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91601. The theme of the Festival will be "I, Woman". The theme of the opening night Gala will be "In Tribute To…" directed by Denise Dowse.
