In cooperation with government partners and commercial customers, the company also announces a definitive agreement with the state of Nevada to support UTM USS (UAS Service Supplier) testing and pilot program. Developed in partnership with NASA, Avision UTM will power flight-testing in downtown Reno, Nevada this spring. The system will eventually be operationalized across the US. "The goal is to natively integrate requests for airspace usage and offer advanced capabilities like BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) for urban air mobility," said CTO Dmitry Yavorsky. "Our team worked closely with NASA and FAA in a tremendous effort to bring the technology to the marketplace. We are excited to offer UTM USS capabilities to the state of Nevada," says CEO Stas Mozolyuk.
