Toadys Meet Their Masters with New App from Marvel Founder

The makers behind Toadys are thrilled to share news of the recent release of the app that was created to change the way influencers interact with their toadys, otherwise known as superfans.

Toadys fills a void for influencers, helping them monetize the time they spend interacting with their followers. Each of these power-players can create a Toadys account through the app that allows them to set pricing terms for in-app fan interaction features, like texting, video calls, and live feed access. Fans can purchase Toadys tokens to redeem through pay-per-minute or –text exchanges with their favorite influencers – giving them guaranteed access in a way not possible with traditional social media.

"A couple of years ago, I saw the value in the content that so many influencers were putting out into the world – and in reality, only a small percentage of them are getting paid. They have a lot to offer, and I know I'd pay to talk to them," shared Toadys' founder and CEO, Sky Rota.

Rota is new to the app world, but he's run several business ventures that paint him as an authority in the social sphere. After creating SkyCars.com, and authoring two books, Rota founded GenZInsider – a resource for Generation Z and beyond. One of the services offered through the site, Gen Z Consulting, allows brands to pick the brains of Generation Z, including Rota himself – who is only 15-years-old. Rota's resume is remarkable for his age, especially when accounting for the tremendous challenges he's faced as a student with dyslexia.

Rota said, "I learn in a different way, which means I process the world differently. I sometimes notice where something is missing, and if I can figure out a way to fix it, I'm driven to do that. That's how Toadys was built. I saw a hole in influencer communication, and I worked to fill it."
