The promotion is part of a new campaign – Bob Evans is "America's Farm Fresh" – which embraces the company's farm roots with an authentic brand story. The company has invested in a comprehensive, multi-pronged marketing program that focuses on the rich values in which the late Bob Evans himself believed, including hard work, fresh-quality ingredients, and contemporary homestyle meals the whole family can enjoy.
"This new campaign takes a fresh approach on the heritage that made us who we are today – offering delicious, craveable foods, including our Pick 2 Farm-Fresh Combos, served with our genuine hometown hospitality, all at an incredible value," said Bob Holtcamp, chief marketing officer at Bob Evans Restaurants.
Founded in 1948, Bob Evans began making sausage on his southeastern Ohio farm and served it at a small 12-stool diner he owned in Gallipolis. Since then, Bob Evans Restaurants has been crafting homestyle meals made with care that remind guests of their favorite family dishes.
Leveraging Bob Evans' rich farm history, the marketing campaign has a strong tie to America's farmers and includes a "Spokes-farmer" as the lead storyteller. Utilizing a multimedia strategy, the company will highlight Bob Evans' farm-raised values of fresh, homestyle food, and define a new array of dining offerings for its guests.
The campaign kicks off this summer, with Bob Evans' Pick 2 Farm-Fresh Favorites featuring hearty soups, farm-fresh salads and half sandwiches. Items are made in-house daily and include:
