The Mission Continues Launches New Leadership Program For Women Veterans

The Mission Continues, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment of veterans as community-based leaders, is proud to announce the launch of a new program exclusively for women veterans, beginning next week in Washington, DC. The Women Veterans Leadership Program will welcome 70 female veterans interested in leveraging their leadership skills and unique veteran experience to build a movement pursuing equality for all women. Continue reading.

The five-month program sets women veterans up for success in leadership positions in their professional and personal lives through a virtual learning curriculum and a series of in-person sessions. Participants will hear from engaging speakers, network with other veterans, and gain practical skills and experience in topics ranging from interpersonal communication and public speaking to increasing resiliency. Through the Women Veterans Leadership Program, the organization seeks to change the narrative on what it means to be a woman veteran by providing the pathways for women to become change-makers in their community, deepen bonds with other veterans, and enhance their professional networks.

"The women of The Mission Continues have been leading from the front for years," said Mary Beth Bruggeman, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and President of The Mission Continues, "They represent nearly 40% of our programs and are active in their communities as role models and mentors. With this program, we're helping them develop a deeper network and tangible skills that enable them to grow a movement of empowered women in this country, working towards equality of opportunity for all." Read here.

The first session of the program will take place March 4th through March 6th. Women in attendance will hear from a panel of women in current leadership roles, and engage in sessions focusing on professional networking, authentic leadership, and personal storytelling. The weekend will also include a female-lead service project at Calvary Women's Services. Be alert to the latest news.

In 2015, The Mission Continues conducted a research study on the need for further programming for women veterans, who represent approximately 40% of the organization's membership. In contrast, 19% of the post-9/11 veteran population is made up of women. The results shed light on a generation of women who are proud of their service yet have encountered challenges and obstacles unique of their male peers, consequently leading to the launch of the Women Veterans Leadership Summit in 2016. Today's Women Veterans Leadership Program was developed to greater serve these women and offer further opportunities for leadership development. Read latest news here.

The program is made possible by investments from the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Major League Baseball, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin Corporation, the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, Vera Bradley, and Sword & Plough. New Flexible Power Workstations Adapt to Staffing Changes and Clinical Needs

Reducing hospital operating expenses will be a primary focus over the next year for many hospitals according to Healthcare Financial Management Association and Navigant. With labor budgets and nursing shortages on the rise, hospitals need to deliver more efficiency in their workflows.1

MobiusPower Plus sets a new standard on Enovate Medical's Envoy and Encore mobile EHR workstations. Over the workstations' 6-year lifecycle, MobiusPower Plus reduces financial risk by offering a single platform that optimizes efficiencies in hospital's ever-changing clinical workflows.

How it works: Enovate Medical's EcoFlex™ Power Management system's on-board charging allows mobile workstations with MobiusPower Plus to instantly adapt to two workflows. Because the lightweight battery pack is mounted externally, nurses have the freedom of cordless mobility. During periods of low activity like nights and weekends, they can plug the workstation in to extend the overall battery life.

Uniform Solutions Announces New Post Explaining How Generating Employee Uniform Ideas Is the First Step Towards Customer Perceptions

Uniform Solutions, an online service for professional employee uniform ideas at http://www.uniformsolutionsforyou.com/, is proud to announce a new post for hoteliers and restaurateurs on the synergy between idea-generation and customer satisfaction. Success or defeat in the restaurant industry could come down to customer perception. Shabby-looking servers might leave a negative impression. If patrons equate unkempt wait staff to a disorganized kitchen, it could prove detrimental to an eatery. The new post explains that dressing employees in crisp, clean uniforms might change a point of view for the better.

"When people go out to eat, they want their food from a clean, organized kitchen. Maybe even better than their own," Bruce Bagley, Manager of Uniform Solutions. "Since customers don't see the kitchen, they can make assumptions based on the décor and the staff. A friendly, well-dressed server can give the impression the kitchen is just as professional. Employee uniforms are a key variable."

Leaders in the hospitality industry can review the new post from Uniform Solutions at http://www.uniformsolutionsforyou.com/in-many-businesses-customers-see-employee-uniforms-first/. Customer perception could be critical to the success of a restaurant. Sloppy uniforms worn by the wait staff, cocktail servers and bartenders could leave a negative impression. Reviewing a list of on-trend employee uniform ideas can help. A unique "idea consultant" available online can help business owners find the right look to leave a positive impact on guests. Wrinkle-free shirts, pleated skirts, and bright, embroidered logos can set the tone for an evening out. To review a listing of popular employee uniform ideas, interested parties can go to http://www.uniformsolutionsforyou.com/restaurant-uniform/. Interested persons are urged to reach out to the company for a no-obligation consultation on ideas for better employee and staff uniforms.

GREAT RESTAURANT EMPLOYEE UNIFORM IDEAS "SET THE STAGE" FOR CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE

Here is the background for this release. Every night could seem like opening night when a new customer walks into a restaurant. The first impression might equate failure or success to an eatery. If guests are greeted by scruffy, wait staff dressed in shabby attire, they might not stay to see what happens next. A sloppy greeting can leave an impression the kitchen is lackluster. If, however, servers are well-dressed and attentive, it could change the story. Restaurant managers might wow guests from the beginning by considering new employee uniform ideas.
For these reasons, Uniform Solutions has announced a new post for hospitality leaders.

ABOUT UNIFORM SOLUTIONS FOR YOU

Uniform Solutions (http://www.uniformsolutionsforyou.com/) is a division of Santa Rosa Uniform & Career Apparel, Inc. The division focuses on online sales of employee uniforms in key industries: restaurant, hotel, and casino. The website has a unique consultation request feature, wherein interested parties can reach out to a human uniform idea consultant to brainstorm employee uniform ideas. Casino and restaurant employee uniforms are included.

Otus Releases Enterprise Analytics Tools for the K-12 Sector

Otus, the fast-growing edtech company based in Chicago, announced today the release of two transformational data analytics tools: Historical Analytics and the Otus Data Consortium.

Historical Analytics is designed to give school and district leaders a simplified way to see trends in student academic performance, engagement and social-emotional development, and ultimately the impact these have on state and local assessments over time.

The Otus Data Consortium allows neighboring or like-minded school districts to share and compare their student performance data using their own criteria. In practice: a High School Principal can generate a report instantly to see all of the student data from every feeder middle school in minutes. This allows school leaders to develop better plans for incoming students, and eliminates countless face-to-face meetings with incomplete data.

"Every industry in the world has a way to measure performance in real-time, except for K12 education. This means that schools are being run by leaders who, by no fault of their own, are forced to make decisions using incomplete or stagnant data, like state-test scores," said Andy Bluhm, CEO and Co-Founder of Otus. "With Otus, school and district leaders can pair student performance on infrequent high-stakes and benchmark assessments with real-time classroom data on how students are performing each day. By providing a complete learning picture, administrators have the foundation to continuously improve educational outcomes more rapidly than ever before ."

The challenge to seeing data in real-time, is the ability to collect data in real-time. Otus has overcome this challenge by building dozens of teacher-friendly tools that seamlessly integrate into one platform. Otus encourages frequent use by teachers by eliminating the need to bounce from one disconnected app to another to complete all of tasks associated with their jobs. From grading assignments to texting families, all of these tasks live in one place: Otus.

Read news here.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/canine-camp-getaway-of-ny-dog-vacation.html

As Otus is used by teachers and students, performance data is organized, aggregated and paired with legacy data (state tests, college entrance exams, benchmark assessments) and made available for an infinite number of analyses in real-time so that critical decisions can be made based on the best and most accurate information.

In addition to detailed data analysis (gender, student subgroup, ethnicity/race, extracurriculars, etc.) that individual school systems can practice with their own students, Otus also released the Otus Data Consortium tool which gives school districts the ability to share their data with one another for cross-district analysis and idea sharing.

"As K12 educators work to collaborate, the ability to compare a single district to similar school systems, or to schools anywhere in the world using a common set of data, is critical" said Dr. Keith Westman, COO of Otus.

Click here to read the latest news.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/airserver-launches-first-of-its-kind-4k.html

"We have several school systems representing some of the largest and smallest districts in the country who were given early access to our analytics tools," said Christopher Hull, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder. "The conversations that are happening in districts as a result of what the data is showing have been powerful. Teachers are seeing the results of their work in entirely new ways which have led to better conversations about student learning."

With this product release, current and future Otus clients have access to these powerful new analytics tools that shine a light, creating a clear path forward to maximize student learning.
