Reason launches the world’s first remote team escape experience: Lola in Space°

Reason, a future technology escape room in San Francisco launches the world's first remote team escape experience today: Lola in Space°. The game video conferences team members from different locations to interact with a real person "Lola" who is trapped in the supply module of the International Space Station. The players must communicate and collaborate with each other effectively in order to help Lola escape.

Lola in Space° is a light-hearted puzzler with a feel good narrative and a splash of tech for those wow moments. It's designed to help people bond with one another even if they can't be in the same room together.

"This is a difficult time for everyone so we want to build a game that lifts people's spirits if they feel isolated." said Crina Bordas, co-founder of Reason.

"It was like how do we bring people together and yet keep them separate at the same time?.. Then came Lola." said Mike Chen, co-founder of Reason.

In terms of the game design, the new game's use of video communication means all players and Lola are in-synch at all times which streamlines character development and engagement. The use of cameras means Hollywood magic is a must. And finally it's a great exercise for teams to collaborate on multiple work streams while not overloading Lola with information.
