In delivering these games to both beloved fans and new adventurers, we hope that the Myst series can live on for another 25 years!" Further adding, "Myst was my first experience with a 'real' computer game. I am probably in the career I am in today because of my love for that game which lead to a passion for all video games."
"As I type this on my Mac, I am so excited that I'll be able to play all of the Myst games without a PC, an emulator, or Boot Camp!" typed Rand Miller, co-founder of Cyan. "CodeWeavers provided an amazing solution that I was sure wouldn't be possible. I only wish I had known about their CrossOver technology sooner."
Now, both Mac and PC users can participate in this epic offering and explore these graphical adventure games. Released originally in 1993, Myst is still considered a groundbreaking game and is the bestselling game of the 20th century. Interested backers can participate in this Kickstarter campaign to receive their copy of The Myst 25th Anni versary Collection. The campaign is scheduled to run through May 24, 2018 with the games starting to ship in August 2018.

About Cyan:
Cyan was started in 1987 by brothers Rand and Robyn Miller. They released a new kind of children 's software they called The Manhole. It was a simple, whimsical, black & white world to explore with very little to get in the way of the journey. It was well received by children of all ages. The brothers followed up with Cosmic Osmo and Spelunx - two more rich, non-threatening worlds for children to explore.
In 1991, Cyan began work on Myst, a project that would take everything they had learned about making worlds and use it to create a truly unique experience for an older, more sophisticated audience. Myst was about finding yourself lost in a world and simply exploring, understanding and becoming part of the story - and the public response was nothing short of phenomenal. Sales for Myst and its sequel Riven have exceeded 15 million units worldwide - which made them the best-selling computer games of the 20th century.
