Photographers looking for new inspiration or extra professional development don't need to go far this spring. From May 4-18, 2020, dozens of studios across the country will host daily workshops as part of PPA's Spring Photography Workshops—another educational benefit from Professional Photographers of America.
PPA's Spring Photography Workshops are designed to fit any photographer's educational needs with classes featuring portrait and wedding photography, posing and lighting, digital retouching and workflow, sales and marketing strategies and much more-a full day of peer-to-peer photography education. Nearly 200 classes will be offered across the nation, helping photographers better their photography and business skills.

PPA's Photography Workshops are bi-annual, learning extravaganzas taught by professional photographers for professional photographers (being a member of PPA is not required to attend). PPA calls upon its members to volunteer to teach and share their strategies and techniques with fellow artists. The results of PPA's Photography Workshops are a more skilled and cohesive photographic industry, aligning with PPA's mission as a nonprofit to create a vibrant community of successful professional photographers by providing education, resources and industry standards of excellence.
PPA's Photography Workshops offer photographers around the country the opportunity to learn from their peers at a nearby professional studio or location. The participants gain useful knowledge from a professional in their local market and at a low cost; in addition, the experience helps develop the participant's own personal and professional network in their area, which is vital for small business owners to succeed. Every type of photography learning, from business and pricing to creative inspiration, will all be available to attendees of PPA's Photography Workshops. Whatever a photographer might need help with, there's a class for that.
PPA membership is not required to attend PPA Photography Workshops, but PPA photographers will earn one service merit for attending each workshop. These merits go toward earning PPA degrees, prized professional distinctions recognized by the industry and that only the most dedicated photographers possess. All attendees will receive a Bonus Pack with exclusive discounts and offers from several leading photographic companies.
Registration for PPA Photo Workshops is available for $99 until May 3, 2020. On-site registration will be available for an additional fee and space permitting (as many classes tend to sell out, interested parties are required to contact the instructor prior to traveling to the class to ensure space is still available). Registration and class information for these photography workshops can be found online at PPA.com/photoworkshops
