Sunrise Hitek Offers Slip Resistant Custom Counter Mats

Counter mats are a very effective POP display that is great for introducing a brand, launching a new product or a great reminder of an add-on item at checkout. They are also very popular for restaurants as well as service counters. Very similar to the popular Vynex counter mats, the construction on these involves high-resolution UV resistant ink bonded to a rubber slip resistant bottom and a scratch resistant clear top. Since these are digitally printed and cut to order, custom sizes with unique cut profiles are welcome!

What makes these so durable is that the mat consists of two separate elements. The first is the durable hard top. This consists of a durable clear scuff resistant textured hard top which is very similar to popular Vynex counter mats. Sunrise then applies high-resolution UV resistant ink for maximum clarity.

The second element to these mats is the slip resistant rubber mat. This style is often seen at banks and check out counters to provide, a non-slip, clean surface at POP. Sunrise uses a textured pattern on bottom for superior grip. The rubber has a 3mm thickness which adds cushion and weight to keep the entire mat in place.

One aspect that makes Sunrise Hitek stand out on projects such as this is that customers are not forced to compromise and choose from one or two pre-made templates. Digital printing makes a 100% custom piece possible. These mats are digitally printed using high-resolution UV resistant ink using any provided design. After that they are digitally contour cut - which means not just standard rectangles. The bottom line here is that custom designs and unique shapes are part of Sunrise's standard workflow and are available quickly and economically.

Study Shows American Adults are Consuming Cannabis/Hemp Products to Reduce Use of Prescription Medications

Today, Radius Global Market Research released the results of its inaugural Cannabis and Hemp Trends Report. The study surveyed more than 2,000 adults 18+ nationwide and found that between 2018 and 2019 thus far, there has been a significant increase in cannabis and hemp product usage and interest in the United States predominantly to replace prescription medications.

"In December 2018, Hemp was legalized under the farm bill," said Jill Gress, Vice President of Radius Global Market Research. "As a research firm that tries to stay abreast of the most cutting- edge topics, we were interested in starting this trend report analyzing findings, as the industry is beginning to rapidly expand and product usage is increasing quickly. We came across very interesting findings, especially amongst demographics and social structures we were not expecting."

The overarching finding in the report shows that American adults are increasingly consuming Cannabis/Hemp products for medical reasons. For example:

Beyond medical reasons, there were interesting themes that contradicted what the stereotypical status quo, in relation to brands, marital status and income.

Interesting Findings:

Research is continuing to commence. Just last month Harvard and MIT alumnus Charles Broderick donated $9M to his alma mater' for marijuana research, specifically to determine the cognitive and psychological effects. Both institutions describe the donation as the largest private funding of marijuana research. Be alert to the latest news.

According to Gress, "Cannabis and hemp usage is increasing with more legalization across the country, but with a billion dollar business on the cusp of exploding into mainstream products, adults are unsure of terminology and lack education. While they are more likely to consider trying, they do want more information and this will need to come from the industry itself."

Methodology
This survey was conducted online within the United States by Radius Global Market Research on from January 24 - 26, 2019 among 2,020 adults 18+. The sample is representative of US adults.     South Coast Painting Contracting Company Gives Back To Its Community

    For two years, the New Bedford painting contracting company, ProGroup Contracting, has been giving back to its community of schools. The local business teams up with radio station FUN 107 each month and holds a "South Coast Teacher of The Month" contest, where students send a list of submissions of their favorite teacher to Fun 107.

    ProGroup Contracting chooses the most quality votes, picking the most deserving teacher to be surprised with an assortment of gifts sponsored by ProGroup Contracting.

    "Out of thousands of entries, we choose the most deserving teacher from all around the South Coast. It's very exciting" said Michael Rock, Operations Manager and Radio Host of "The Rock and Fox Show" at Fun 107.

    This year's winners have been Mrs. Castelo, third grade teacher at East Fairhaven Elementary for January, Ms. Zajac, kindergarten teacher at Mattapoisett Center School for February , Mr. Doane, 7th grade social studies teacher at Dartmouth Middle School for March and Mrs. Lawrence, 4th grade teacher at Sgt. William Carney Academy for April.

    The deserving teachers are surprised by their principles, ProGroup Contracting and Fun 107 with a gift basket with school supplies for the class, an iPad and an assortment of gift cards. The class also gets a pizza party, which the kids love.

    About last month's winner, Mrs. Lawrence, one of her students parents submitted this nomination letter about Mrs. Lawrence to Fun 107 "She goes way above and beyond the average expectations of a teacher. Not only does she encourage our children to shoot for the stars, she helps them with Love and Understanding. Many of Mrs. Lawrence's students come from not the greatest situations. But Mrs. Lawrence teaches her 4th graders it's not where you came from, but where you're going."

    ProGroup Contracting and Fun 107 believe these teachers deserve some love for working so hard every day to make a fun learning environment for the kids. They hope to keep giving back to our teachers and our community for many years.
