Say Hello to Armz, Gearbugs Corps.'s Latest Smart Toy Invention

Gearbugs Corp. just announced that they are raising funds via Kickstarter to finish the development and production of Armz, a smart toy that can be customized to play various types of game modes. The company set out to raise $10,000 on Kickstarter to finish development and produce the first batch of their latest smart toy invention.

Armz is a new, smart toy that is designed to be highly customizable. The heart and soul of Armz is the Smart Core™ which contains the motors and mechanisms that allow it to move, speak, and light up. In addition to the Smart Core™, Armz also comes with five different arm attachments that can transform the core into a personalized toy.

Gearbugs Corp has also developed an app that will be available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. By syncing the app to the Armz via bluetooth, players will be able to access multiple game modes that match one of the five attachments. The current lineup of game modes include the following: Remote Control Racing, Steering Wheel Racing, Sumo Wrestling, and Tank Battle. Read related news here.

While the gaming feature is one of the main features of Armz, it also meant to be much more than just a simple toy. When Armz is not out on the field for matches, it can be placed on its charging dock to serve as a mood lamp or night light. Users can also customize the voice of Armz with their own recording and program it to act as a virtual home assistant. Finally, a blockchain coding mode is also available to act as an educational tool to teach basic coding.

With all of the available features, Armz users are able to put their imagination to the test by referring to the blueprint on the application and creating their own side attachments via 3D printing technology. As users get more accustomed to Armz's capabilities over time, people may find that there are certain attachments that are not yet available that may enhance the performance of Armz. Be alert to the latest news.

Armz is now available on Kickstarter with exclusive early bird prices starting at $95 (40% off retail value). After the campaign, Gearbugs Corps. anticipates manufacturing and delivery to be fulfilled by the end of August 2019. Any influencers or journalists interested in receiving a sample and reviewing Armz are encouraged to submit an inquiry through its Kickstarter page.

Keen On Kittens: America's First Pop-Up Kitten Lounge Opens In D.C.

The FIRST AND ONLY pop-up Kitten Lounge in the United States is now open in Washington, D.C., giving lucky visitors a chance to snuggle exclusively with three-to-six-month-old kittens, with the goal of spurring up to 500 new adoptions.

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/airserver-launches-first-of-its-kind-4k.html

The concept is from the same successful team behind Crumbs & Whiskers, the groundbreaking cat cafe with locations in D.C. and Los Angeles, California. "I think it's going to be an even more adorable experience, if that's possible," says founder and CEO Kanchan Singh. "You can have a stressful day at work and say 'I need to go cuddle kittens.' It's almost like kitten therapy." The lounge is in response to overwhelming public demand from visitors to the nearby C&W Cat Cafe.

Visitors can choose between 15, 30 and 70-minute packages (Cost: $15, $20 and $35, respectively.) Those enjoying the 30 and 70-minute sessions can also pre-order coffee, tea and other beverages, along with snacks such as edible cookie dough, cookies and more, provided by The Dough Jar. Sign-ups for appointments are available at the Crumbs & Whiskers website.

The pop-up Kitten Lounge is located through June in D.C.'s historic Georgetown neighborhood. The time period is critical because it's considered kitten season. The term sounds nice, but it's actually a time of year when an influx of stray kittens overloads animal shelters nationwide. Many cannot handle the costs and responsibilities of caring for so many kittens. Every year, about 860,000 cats are euthanized, according to the ASPCA. The kittens are provided in partnership with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, a local nonprofit. While all of the kittens are adoptable (and adorable), visitors are able to enjoy the experience without the obligation of adoption. Read here.

The Lounge is at 3109 M St NW, and is open six days a week, from 11am-7:30 pm.

"The Jazz Alphabet" Debuts; Dig Those ABC’s!

From Louis Armstrong to Joe Zawinul, "The Jazz Alphabet" celebrates 26 jazz artists in pictures and words. In addition, there are depictions of Chicago's Green Mill Lounge and New York City's Birdland. Every musician appears as both a visual portrait (with hand lettered quotes by or about the artist), and a written appreciation. The result, as award-winning illustrator Scott Gustafson says, is "a blending of portraiture, words, caricature and letterforms into a unique and loving tribute." To read more about the book, go to their website.

Neil recently appeared on the PBS program "Chicago Tonight" to speak about the book and his inspiration to create it. More info here.

Sunrise Hitek are excited to collaborate with illustrator Neil Shapiro on his labor of love "The Jazz Alphabet". Specializing in print-on-demand; which is perfect for today's direct to consumer online marketplace; they provided an end-to-end solution which includes printing, e-commerce ordering, payment processing, fulfillment, and shipping.
