Pixel Film Studios Unveils ProSidebar 3D Corporate for Final Cut Pro X

ProSidebar 3D Corporate is a set of 9 customizable sidebar presets made exclusively for Final Cut Pro X. Utilize ProSidebars as a title, to introduce people and settings, or promote events. Each 7 second preset features a complete range of text, color, and animation controls that can be found in Final Cut Pros inspector menu. Instantly add a 3D sidebar to any Final Cut Pro X production with ProSidebar 3D Corporate.

ProSidebar 3D Corporate features 9 fully customizable sidebars made exclusively for Final Cut Pro X. Pick and choose from preset with floating particles, to sidebars with clean and modern style. Utilize sidebar presets to introduce people and settings, list events, or as title bar.

ProSidebar 3D Corporate presets can easily be customized using a combination of text boxes, sliders, dials, and transform controls. Select the "⚙ Edit Mode" checkbox to activate animation guides and to begin editing the text. Use the " Start" and " Mid" transform controls to determine where the sidebar animates from, and where it will animate to. Each layer includes its own hue, value, and saturation controls for color manipulation.

Some ProSidebar 3D Corporate presets feature customizable " Foreground" and " Background" 3D particles. Scale, position, and rotate these 3D objects using the transform parameters in the inspector menu. Use the "Object On" checkbox to toggle on and off these optional layers.

ProSidebar presets animate in and animates out in the span of 7 seconds. To extend the duration of the preset, extend the length of the title bar in Final Cut Pro X. To shorten the duration of the preset, shorten the length of the preset. Changing the duration of the preset will retime animations proportionally.

Online Consumer Electronics Shoppers Are Buying More Frequently, Spending Less Per Purchase, Reports NPD’s Checkout

According to NPD's Checkout, a receipt mining service, online consumer technology sales were up 16 percent in the 12 months ending May 2018 versus the year prior, as online shopping continues to increase across the consumer electronics landscape[1]. Despite the rise in online dollar sales, the average spend per purchase declined seven percent year over year, indicating that while more purchases are being completed online, these transactions are increasingly from categories that have items with lower average selling prices, like cell phone accessories. While spending declined on a per purchase basis, overall annual spending per buyer increased to $590, partially driven by technology shoppers making nearly one additional consumer electronics purchase online in the timeframe.

According to NPD's Checkout E-commerce information, the percentage of the U.S. adult online buying population that made at least one consumer electronics purchase in the 12 months ending May 2018 increased by six percentage points from the year prior, reaching 43 percent buyer penetration[2]. The consumer electronics categories with the highest buyer penetration were cell phone accessories (22 percent), portable audio (18 percent), and mobile power (13 percent).

Arlington Woman Surprised by $10k Prize from Neighborhood Credit Union

Being a consistent saver can bring unexpected rewards, one Arlington woman learned.

Inez Mackie was tending to her garden Wednesday morning as Neighborhood Credit Union leadership approached her with an oversized check for $10,000. The actual $10,000 prize was deposited directly into her Prize Savings Account at the credit union.

"You have got to be kidding me," she said. "That's going to go a long way on a road trip budget."

Mackie has been a member of the credit union for eight years where she has accounts for herself as well as savings accounts for her three great-grandchildren. She said she knew of the annual grand prize the credit union gives away but was shocked and surprised that she was a $10,000 winner.

"This is our way of showing our appreciation to Ms. Mackie for being a fantastic member," said Francis Santana, vice president of community relations. "She is obviously a dedicated saver and we really appreciate it."

Dallas-based Neighborhood Credit Union established the Prize Savings Account 10 years ago to encourage people to save more money at a time when the personal savings rate had dropped to one of the lowest levels in U.S. history. But by being a consistent saver, Mackie believes that it's very important to save every month for both regular use and emergencies.

"You just have to do it [save] first," Mackie said. "If it goes into your savings account before you get your hands on it, you won't spend it. Before you know it, you've accumulated a nice little emergency cushion."

When asked what she was going to do with her winnings, Mackie explained that she was going to use it to help fund a family trip back to her home state of Florida next summer.
