MyWay Mobile Storage of Denver was happy again to donate a SafeBox to help the MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue's biennial garage sale. The garage sale proceeds go directly to helping Boston Terriers in need of medical services. Due to the overwhelming support from the community, additional space was needed for the donated items. MyWay Mobile Storage of Denver was able to deliver a SafeBox™ and place it in the most convenient and easy-to-access place for loading and unloading donated items.
This event has captured the attention of many individuals and businesses around the community, including the Denver 7 news station. In 2017, the last time this event was held, Denver 7 awarded Cindy Marques the plaque for being a "7 Everyday Hero." Cindy was recognized for her volunteer dedication to the MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue mission. It is with the efforts of the numerous volunteers that about 300 dogs are rescued every year.
Although this year's event was delayed a week due to weather, the foundation was still able to collect enough donations to fill a garage and a MyWay Mobile Storage of Denver SafeBox™. This event is one of the most popular throughout the year and has been a tremendous building block to share the mission of the MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue with people that may not be aware of the great work they do.
