Keynotes Announced for 2019 Global SAFe® Summit Being Held September 29 – October 4 in San Diego, California

Scaled Agile, Inc., provider of the world's leading framework for enterprise agility, today announced four keynote speakers for the upcoming 2019 Global SAFe Summit, which will take place September 29 – October 4 in San Diego, California. With over 2,000 attendees expected, the fourth annual Global SAFe Summit will be the largest-ever gathering focused exclusively on the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and its community of practice.

This year's event will feature keynotes from thought leaders in Lean-Agile practices, product-based development, collaboration frameworks, and personal transformation.

—Recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on Lean-Agile best practices, SAFe creator and chief methodologist, Dean Leffingwell will present "Competing in the Age of Software with Business Agility." Leffingwell will share the latest thinking in scalable, Lean-Agile technical practices, as well as guidance on how to extend the Agile mindset and practices to all aspects of the business.

Dr. Mik Kersten, founder of Tasktop and best-selling author of Project to Product, will present "Project to Product: From Flow Metrics to SAFe." The Value Stream Network pioneer shows how a product operating model can provide the critical glue between the hierarchical and finance-oriented structures of the business and the agility enabled by delivery teams adopting SAFe. "Mik Kersten has laid new groundwork in the area of product-based development," said Leffingwell. "So we're delighted that he'll be addressing the Summit audience at a time when they are making critical decisions on how to transform into product-centric innovators that can compete and thrive in the age of software."

—Known as classical music's "No.1 Maverick," Jade Simmons is a concert pianist and author of the best-selling book, Audacious Prayers for World Changers. In her presentation, "How to Move Like a Maverick," Simmons will discuss cultivating innovation and originality, the strategies behind audacious leadership, and the tools to unleash momentum in life and business.

—Author, inventor, and expert on Agile software development, Luke Hohmann will present "Tackling Awesome Super Problems." Hohmann will demonstrate how decision-making and collaboration approaches pioneered by the Agile community can be used to tackle the most extreme challenges of software development.

Last year's event sold out, so prospective attendees are encouraged to register now and secure a spot for the 2019 Global SAFe Summit.
