Lucas Group Welcomes Randy Marmon as President and CEO

Lucas Group announced that its Board of Directors has named Randy Marmon as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 15. Marmon succeeds Andi Jennings, who has led the executive recruiting firm since 2009. Jennings will remain a member of Lucas Group's Board of Directors and a principal company consultant.

Marmon's appointment returns him to the city where he launched his career and provides Atlanta-based Lucas Group with proven leadership in the human capital management industry. It also comes as Lucas Group, named by Forbes as a 2019 Top 10 executive recruiting firm, approaches its 50th anniversary and a new chapter in the company's continuing success story.

Marmon began his career in Atlanta as a public accountant in 1987 and was quickly recruited into the human capital industry by Norrell Services in 1989. He subsequently joined Kforce in Tampa, Florida, where he progressed through the company during his distinguished 21-year tenure. In 1997, he was tapped to launch the National Accounts division and within three years, the team contributed over 25% of the company's Technology and Accounting and Finance revenue. He was named President of the firm's Midwest region in 2004 and ultimately rose to the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer, where he served until late 2013.

In 2014, he founded a boutique advisory firm, Human Capital Transformation, and began consulting with a number of HCM firms, including P2P Staffing and its technology staffing arm, TekPartners. Marmon joined TekPartners as Chief Strategy Officer in 2016 and most recently served as an Executive Advisor.

Marmon replaces Andi Jennings, who became only the second CEO in the company's history when she was named to succeed Lucas Group founder Art Lucas in 2009. Jennings's 43-year career at the recruitment firm was built by her consistent sales and leadership achievements at every level. As CEO, Jennings unified the firm's disparate practice groups under one company vision, expanded its geographic reach, and grew the company to over 550 Associates.

Marmon's appointment follows a rigorous and comprehensive search that was conducted by Heidrick & Struggles and spearheaded by Jennings and Carolina King, Chief People Officer, on behalf of Lucas Group's Board of Directors. His office will be located at the firm's headquarters in Atlanta.

Marmon, who holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida, began achieving success quickly upon his transition to recruiting and was named Kforce National Sales Rookie of the Year in 1992. By the time he left the staffing firm in 2013 as Chief Customer Officer, Marmon led an organization of over 1,000 employees and was recognized for revitalizing the company's Strategic Accounts program, establishing customer pricing and profitability platforms, accelerating its Healthcare Vertical, transforming its National Recruiting Center, and directing all job board, social media, immigration, and independent contractor initiatives. In addition, he served on the Board of the firm's Government Services Business unit.
