PayGo Energy’s Mark O’Keefe Receives AppSheet Innovator Award

PayGo Energy's Head of Operations, Mark O'Keefe, receives AppSheet's Innovator award; an award that recognizes app creators for creating apps that change how work is done, influencing positive changes in organizations and the world.

PayGo Energy, a company based in Nairobi, is revolutionizing the way the world accesses clean fuel. While working in an informal settlement in Nairobi, the PayGo team noticed that households were spending more money to cook with dirty fuels, like charcoal and kerosene, than they would with gas. From the start, O'Keefe knew that he wanted to digitize the entire process. "Although it took a little bit longer to develop these processes and apps with AppSheet, in the long run I think it saved us a lot of time because of the way we could digitize every single process. Now every core component of our operations is digitized," said O'Keefe.
