Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas (MMBNT) is pleased to announce Kimberly Mansen, MSPH, RD as the speaker for its Anniversary Luncheon, Milk Banking at Home and Around the World.
Mansen is the Program Officer for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and Nutrition at PATH, a global health organization based in Seattle. She will discuss her efforts to support human milk banking on an international level, including innovating to create low-cost technologies that support access to safe, quality human milk.
This year's luncheon celebrates 14 years of milk banking in the Dallas-Fort Worth community. It will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 27 at River Crest Country Club in Fort Worth.
Gold sponsor is Pediatrix Medical Group – Fort Worth Neonatology and Silver sponsors are Andrews Women's Hospital at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth and Cook Children's Medical Center. Bronze sponsors include the Amy E. Shewbart Foundation, Customized Communications Inc., JPS Foundation, Newborn Nightingales, Pier 1 Imports, Southwest Bank, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and Texas Health Huguley Hospital.
