ClubUp, a North Carolina-based software and services company that caters to private golf clubs with caddie programs, announced the company's recent expansion into Virginia and Massachusetts, as well as additional markets in North Carolina.
Currently operating in North Carolina, Arizona, New York, Texas and Georgia, ClubUp partners with private golf clubs looking to advance their already existing caddie programs, as well as with clubs looking to add a caddie program as a new service to its club membership. "ClubUp is excited to add partner clubs in new markets. Strong business relationships with world class clubs combined with our recent partnership with the Metropolitan Golf Association in New York allows us to provide caddie opportunities to young people in a number of markets while also helping our partner clubs start or improve caddie programs for their members," said ClubUp founder and CEO Matthew Rose.

Also in North Carolina, ClubUp launched service with Biltmore Forest Country Club in Asheville starting in April of 2018. Founded in 1922 by the Vanderbilt family, the golf course was designed by Donald Ross and consistently ranks as one of the top courses in North Carolina. "With the assistance of ClubUp, Biltmore Forest reinstituted a caddie program for the first time in over twenty years. The program has exceeded expectations as we have more than tripled our projections. From recruitment to development to implementation, ClubUp has created a seamless program that has resulted in an enhanced golfing experience for our members," stated Jon Rector, Head Golf Professional at Biltmore Forest Country Club.
Another new partner club for ClubUp is Princess Anne Country Club, located in Virginia Beach, VA. Princess Anne club was founded in 1916 and its golf course consistently ranks as one of the top courses in Virginia. "We recently revitalized the caddie program at the Princess Anne Country Club. ClubUp has allowed us to easily connect with our target caddie demographic and its easy-to-use platform has made the administrative side of the program seamless, providing us with more time to develop our caddies in the program, thus ensuring our members' satisfaction," said Matt Liebler, Head Golf Professional at Princess Anne Country Club.
On Boston's South Shore, Black Rock Country Club has also recently signed up to work with ClubUp. Black Rock is recognized as one of the region's premier private golf clubs and will use ClubUp to assist their already operational caddie program. "We are excited to continue our expansion in the northeast with the addition of Black Rock Country Club," stated Matthew Rose, CEO of ClubUp.
