The Foundation for Future Reality has found a new use for Amazon's Alexa-enabled Lynx robot. Although the robot will keep its original job of communicating with and entertaining office visitors, it has picked up a few new duties as well. And with several modifications, the 'School of Robots,' an initiative of The Foundation for Future Reality, has ensured that the Lynx can play a bigger role in office visits. Happy 1.0, as the new and improved robot is called, is now able to ask important screening questions for Medicare preventive visits & yearly wellness exams and can also send the answers to a patient's file.

The robot uses face-recognition technology, artificial intelligence, and the ePlatform ScreeningX.com, a HIPAA Compliance tool to administer the questions.
