Dr. Peter Kremers is a graduate of Duke University and The University of Wisconsin Medical School. His postgraduate education included residency and fellowships in radiology and interventional radiology in Boston and Georgetown. He is the current director of Breast Imaging and Breast Intervention for Frederick Memorial Regional Health System. An interest in water-gardening, beginning with a small water garden at his home, evolved into his role as co-founder and chairman of Color on the Creek, a large public water garden in Frederick. He also conceived and co-founded Sailing Through the Winter Solstice, a sister organization that brightens the Carroll Creek Linear Park during the winter months. Dr. Kremers appreciates the positive role that public art, in varied form, can play in enhancing and enriching our lives. Be alert to read related news.

Paula Rubin-Wexler has been a member of the FAC board since May of 2017 and has since been very active with the organization. Her election to the position of Secretary comes after former Secretary Frank Goldstein had to recuse himself due to illness. Paula is a former New York City advertising professional and is now a local award-winning artist. Solo and group exhibits include TAG/The Artists Gallery, The Delaplaine Arts Center, Artique Underground at Volt, and she was recently featured in a show at the Blue Streak Gallery in Wilmington, Delaware. She has served on other boards including The American Advertising Federation, The Yellow Barn Studio, The DC Ad Club, and more, and her work is in private and public collections, nationally and internationally.

"Both Ms. Rubin-Wexler and Dr. Kremers have demonstrated their commitment to our mission through their work in the community," said Will Randall, President of the Frederick Arts Council. "We look forward to continuing to benefit from their leadership in matters of arts and culture within our growing organization."
