A worldwide program that launched the category of academic summer camps 37 years ago is about to reach a milestone with the enrollment of its 80,000th student in one of its four U.S. college locations this summer.
Since holding its first camp in California in 1982, SuperCamp has expanded to over 20 countries worldwide. In the U.S., the program takes place on college campuses, including Stanford and Villanova in 2018. In addition to its learning-and-life-skills camps for middle school and high school students, SuperCamp runs a 6-day Quantum Academy program for incoming and current college students. More info here.
The sustained success of the program is attributed to the results achieved by the students who attend SuperCamp. Follow-up research with SuperCamp graduates reveals improved grades and social skills, as well as increased confidence and motivation. Word-of-mouth referrals and now second-generation attendees within families have contributed significantly to the popularity SuperCamp continues to enjoy. Click here to read the latest news.
"SuperCamp gets the results we do with students for two reasons," said co-founder and president, Bobbi DePorter. "The first reason is our proprietary Quantum Learning training method, which creates several mini-success moments for each student at camp. The second reason is the engaging, supportive and expert SuperCamp staff that delivers the training in a highly orchestrated manner."

A graduate from SuperCamp in 1987, Gregg Frame, says, "It's not a stretch to say that those 10 days at SuperCamp changed my life. I am excited to be able to share the SuperCamp experience with my daughter who will be attending this summer."
