All 10 procedures had similar positive results, suggesting Rebound PRP is a must-have added assurance to this type of surgery.

Results included but were not limited to:
1. All 10 incisions healing without incident. No infection occurred in any patient.
2. Virtually full-range of motion was established within two weeks of surgery.
3. Nearly all patients were bearing some weight on the limb at the first recheck which occurred most commonly one week postoperatively. Several patients were using the limb regularly at their first recheck.
4. No clients requested additional pain medications due to uncontrolled pain.
5. No clients reported an inability to perform physical therapy because of pain.

"Patients had returned to full function much faster than was my experience with the same procedure prior to using Enso Discoveries Rebound PRP," exclaimed Dr. Schwartz. "Pain appeared to be well controlled allowing owners to perform physical therapy on patients with minimal issues. Pets were able to return to slow walks just two weeks after the procedure, with several patients beginning to run on their own within 30 days of the procedure and requiring a leash for restraint. USARAD Holdings announces a successful collaboration with Siemens-Healthineers on Artificial Intelligence projects

USARAD Holdings Inc., the leading US Joint Commission Accredited teleradiology and telemedicine company backed by Siemens Healthineers and several healthcare VC firms announces successful collaboration with its partner, Siemens Healthineers. The companies collaborated on the lung nodule detection part of the AI-Rad Companion Chest CT software which assists radiologists in detection of pulmonary nodules. This software was awarded the CE mark in Europe as well as 510k FDA approval and can start to be marketed as a medical product effective immediately.

Dr. Matthias Mitschke coordinated the project and worked together with Dr. Anna Jerebko and her team who oversaw the development of the lung nodule detection software. Anna and Matthias championed this collaboration which involved multiple steps. According to Siemens specifications, USARAD together with MDW developed specialized AI annotation software and radiology workflow for the project. USARAD then leveraged MDW technology to assist in obtaining over 10,000 deidentified computed tomography cases, radiology reports and annotations from its data partners. The image data as well as the clinical reports were carefully anonymized in compliance with HIPAA. Unique heterogeneous acquired CT data was obtained from over 100 imaging centers in multiple states throughout USA. Siemens Healthineers, USARAD and MDW then collaborated to oversee numerous radiologists who provided annotations in multiple phases which included providing input for an FDA submission.

Anna stated, "We are pleased to work together with USARAD on data collection for AI development. It is very important to 'stress test' medical imaging and computer aided detection algorithms on as much data as possible with a large variety of different acquisition protocols, scanner models and patient populations to ensure stable performance thus assessing its generalizability and for use in medical practice. The massive amount of chest CT scans were read and annotated by multiple experienced radiologists. In this manner, the performance of the AI algorithm could be benchmarked against the opinions of experts. It is a very common pitfall in AI development when an algorithm is trained and tested on a limited amount of data acquired from a single site possibly with scanner(s) from a single vendor and interpreted by only a few radiologists. This type of evaluation can lead to conclusions on algorithm results that are too optimistic and can manifest in a suboptimal performance in clinical practice. Stress-testing the AI algorithms for chest CT on a massive amount on clinical data has shown a significant improvement compared to existing standard CAD algorithms."

Blind Reveals Bloomberg, Netflix, Facebook, and Google Employees are the Happiest with the Most Growth

Blind, the anonymous professional network with more than 3.2 million work-email verified users, announced today the results of a survey that identifies the top 15 companies with the happiest employees in the U.S.. The survey of more than 10,000 Blind users uncovered remarkable insight into the link between employee happiness and growth. Nearly 68-percent of the workforce is satisfied with the growth opportunities at their current employment while only 51-percent of all employees claimed to be happy at their workplace With a mission dedicated to boost workplace transparency and change, Blind often deploys surveys to its users at companies including Facebook, LinkedIn, Capital One, and Uber uncovering authentic employee sentiment.

"Overall, Blind found that employees who felt they had significant growth were also the happiest and, as self-reported employee growth declined, so did happiness. Nearly 80-percent of employees who reported they had significant personal growth also reported they were happy in their current role," notes Kyum Kim, Blind co-founder. "However, among employees who reported they had only moderate growth, only slightly more than half said they are happy. Happiness drops notably again among employees who reported they had no growth, with only 16-percent saying they are happy in their role"

The survey was conducted from December 9 - December 31, 2019. Blind received survey responses from a total of 10,129 users. In order to rank companies, Blind gave each company a personal growth score by giving more weight to "significant growth" over "moderate growth" and for "no growth," a score of 0.
