Nasoni launches Kickstarter for new dual water fountain faucet

Today, Nasoni launched a crowdfunding campaign for the Da Vinci Fountain Faucet, a water-saving faucet with a dual method of delivery for the bathroom sink, inspired by Roman ingenuity. It is available at a Super Early Bird 50% off MSRP discount in limited quantities on Kickstarter starting at $239 USD (retail: $479).

The Da Vinci fountain faucet offers two modes: a regular flow of water and a fountain. Users simply flip a lever and water flow is redirected from the downspout to a fountain nozzle at the top that creates an arc of water. The sink also crushes the California Energy Commission requirements for water efficiency. Users can expect water savings of 83% more than a WaterSense faucet when in fountain mode, using only half a gallon for the recommended two minutes it takes to brush one's teeth.

"We have been working on Nasoni faucets for nearly 5 years and we have developed numerous iterations and prototypes. Along the way, we identified the highest quality materials like solid, lead-free brass and ceramic disc valves to optimize every aspect of our faucets to create our Dynamic Fountain Flow™ technology," said creator and Nasoni President & CEO Steve Waddell. The faucet also has an optional under counter water filter that eliminates 95% of contaminants while leaving essential minerals available for $129. Da Vinci fountain faucets come in three finishes and are available as either a 4" centerset or 8" widespread faucet. This is the world's first fountain faucet and is patented in the US and China with additional patents pending.
