Major Japanese Investment Bank Turns to Inforalgo for Allocation Processing

Inforalgo, the Capital Markets data automation specialist, has won a significant deal to consolidate and automate Bloomberg trade allocations for the New York office of a major Japanese investment bank.

Read this here.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/proshred-arizona-announces-pilot.html

The bank already uses Inforalgo to provide straight-through processing of Capital Markets transactions, automatically reflecting live trade data across all trading platforms and back-office systems. It will now substantially extend that service to simultaneously allocate those trades across the relevant books on Bloomberg in real time, to save teams having to do this manually.

Trade volumes for the bank have been peaking at around 300 a day across two major trading platforms. Automating allocation processing will significantly speed up critical administration, freeing up traders' capacity and reducing the risk of errors linked to manual data allocation.

"The work being done by Inforalgo will save traders a lot of time," says Gary Stretch, Customer Success Manager at Inforalgo. "When executing a trade on either of their two main platforms, they can now automatically allocate their trades, saving them from having to log onto Bloomberg and manually enter the allocations in different books.

"From now on, allocations will simply flow automatically with the executed trade through to Bloomberg, so traders can quickly move on," he adds. "Previously, processing allocations – a necessity but which adds no value to the business - would have cost them precious time and money, while tying up two screens."

"After the significant gains the bank has seen from STP automation with Inforalgo, this extension of the service was the logical next step, further bolstering traders' efficiency as well as risk mitigation," says Jordan Ambrose, CEO at Inforalgo. "We are delighted with this important new business win with a major global bank, which is a ringing endorsement of the continued value we bring to its Capital Markets trading activities."

Corrugated Cardboard Counter Displays from Sunrise Hitek

Corrugated cardboard counter displays work well to get a product directly in front of customers in retail environments. The first thing a consumer sees when they are introduced to a product is the packaging, and first impressions go a long way! When it comes to packaging it is integral to get it just right. Lengthy runs can be quite expensive, and take up to 10 weeks production time. Sunrise Hitek offers prototype packaging in short runs starting with as few quantities as a handful to 1000's, depending on the project. Since they are a full service digital printer they can also get the project done in a fraction of the time.

Consumers can choose a standard style model or a sloped model for their corrugated cardboard counter display. Sunrise has existing template sizes to choose from while custom sizes are always welcome. These can also be made with or without a header. All graphics are printed high-resolution with bright vivid full color. Sunrise are also a G7 Certified Master Printer further ensuing color quality control. Digital printing also allows for two crucial things: full customization and fast turnaround time. Low minimum quantity orders needed are another added perk.

An article on interactonshelf.com discusses the importance of eye-catching product design. They reference a Nielson study that found 36% of customers purchased an item based upon product design. They also assert that 64% of consumers try a new product simply because of the packaging. With so many different products sitting on the shelves, a new product really needs to stand out to be noticed. That puts a heavy premium on getting packaging right.

Sunrise Hitek is an industry leader in packaging and packaging design. This past fall Sunrise Hitek collaborated with Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day to create a completely custom box to showcase their products. This was a unique project due to the many different materials and techniques that went into this single project. The materials used for the finished project included: foam, canvas, custom cotton strap with leather ends, wood, plastic and aluminum, chrome fasteners, cardboard, UV ink, soft-touch laminations, and adhesives. The interior structure for the box was aluminum composite panels and PVC board. The exterior was primarily comprised of UV printed and laminated cardboard.

#CXDay Report from Cyara and CXPA Reveals Experience and Digital Team Collaboration Are Key to Great CX

With #CXDay approaching, Cyara and the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) have published a report—IT and CX Collaboration in Delivering a Great Customer Experience—that surveyed hundreds of customer experience (CX) and IT/digital professionals to understand how the CX team, which defines the business requirements, and the IT/digital team, which determines how technology can deliver those requirements, can better collaborate to deliver a great customer experience. Read this for more information.

"Successful businesses win by delivering exceptional customer experiences across all channels. This requires deployment of advanced customer-facing technologies and then continually innovating these systems to stay ahead. So it's vital that business and IT teams collaborate effectively," said Linda Chen, CMO at Cyara. "This report provides useful guidance for enterprises looking to meld the vision of their CX team with the technical expertise of their technical team."

"Our CXPA members are passionate about delivering great CX, and it's encouraging to see from the survey that those with more experience are gaining traction and delivering stronger results," said Diane Magers, CCXP and CXPA board member. "It's especially noteworthy that an overwhelming majority of CX professionals are more likely to report that their teams have a common view of customer journeys—including digital—and are realizing the benefits of forging strong collaborative bounds with IT professionals."

Key findings of the report include:

1. Digital transformation is mainstream and is data-driven
Many organizations are undertaking digital transformation initiatives to overcome disruption caused by new competitors, as well as the change in expectations from customers. The survey found that 82 percent of respondents are in the midst of some form of digital transformation initiative. Respondents noted the focal point for these digital transformation initiatives is the customer experiences. Encouragingly, 60 percent of the more than 350 respondents report that they are grounding their digital transformation initiatives in customer input to a high degree. However, almost one-fifth of them said that their digital transformation initiatives were not driven by customer data, but rather were based on executive direction or best practices.

2. Experience and maturity contribute to digital success
Not surprisingly, those organizations that have more maturity and capabilities in CX are able to deliver a better experience for their customers. Interestingly, as organizations evolve in their CX maturity, the challenges they face change also evolve. CX veterans say their top challenge is pressure to execute quickly on their digital transformation goals, whereas CX newbies are focused on more basics such as getting their initiatives funded. CX veterans are 87 percent more likely to strongly agree that "Our IT and business teams have a common view of customer journeys, and effectively manage the experiences within those customer journeys."

3. Speed causes mistakes or poorly designed CX
Fifty-eight percent of respondents reported that "Pressure to execute quickly has resulted in errors or poorly designed CX in my organization." The need for speed is generally driven by rapidly changing customer expectations as well as competitive pressure. Two of the respondents' best-practice advice included: (1) collaborate early and often to reduce development cycles; and (2) employ DevOps tools for greater speed and quality.

4. Collaboration is key for CX success
When asked to describe the quality of inter-department collaboration, most respondents report having a solid working relationship with their peers in IT. However, 92 percent reported that the relationships have been affected by poor collaboration associated with various challenges and disappointments, including creating inferior experience, missed deadlines, and failing to match to original project specifications. Worse, one in five organizations reported that executives had left the organization as a result of poor collaboration.

Businesses across industries and across the globe are all facing the need to digitally transform. This need is driven by the twin pressures of new and potentially digital-first competition and heightened customer expectations. To succeed in this environment requires both business acumen and deep knowledge of the technological possibilities. Now, more than ever, it is imperative that CX and business teams collaborate effectively with IT and digital teams to design and deliver the outstanding, differentiated customer experiences that will delight customers and keep competitors—new and old—at bay.

The 20/22 Act Society Announces Disaster Relief Support to Bahamas

In the beginning of September, the 20/22 Act Society's Foundation took a step towards relieving the terrible situation brought by Hurricane Dorian to The Bahamas. In doing so, the 20/22 Act Foundation chose to support two critical areas that were severely affected by the Hurricane: humanitarian relief and animal welfare.

Donna Kiriaze, accountant at the Bahamas Humane Society, said, "I can't begin to tell you how grateful we are for your support. It will help us tremendously to face the challenges ahead. A huge thank you for your support at this devastating time for the Bahamian people and animals." The 20/22 Act Foundation granted $25,000 to Grand Bahama's primary animal sanctuary to help their animal transfer and sanitization efforts. Dogs and cats are being transferred to Nassau, Bahamas, where the hurricane's impact was not as severe as in Grand Bahama. At least 150 pets have also been shipped and made available for adoption in animal sanctuaries in Florida, United States.

Furthermore, Erin Gore, Vice President of Development at World Central Kitchen, said, "we are incredibly grateful for you. Just yesterday we passed the 100,000 meals served milestone. We have a long way to go to meet the need and you are now in this with us," in response to the 20/22 Act Foundation's $25,000 grant for hot food, water, and supplies provided directly to the Bahamian people affected. News reports say that World Central Kitchen continues to lead a massive effort of unloading and serving at least 500,000 pounds of nutritious meals, sandwiches, and drinking water to tens of thousands of people daily. Read this for more information.

"Our thoughts are with the Bahamian people and animals in this terrible situation. We imagine how dire the situation out there can be from our experience in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria," said Robb Rill, President of the 20/22 Act Foundation. "We really hope our support makes a difference and, again, appreciate the efforts of Bahamian charities in getting this done."
