May 4th, 2019 Is Free Comic Book Day at Third Eye Comics

Third Eye Comics in Annapolis is one of the thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating the largest event in the comic book industry on Saturday, May 4th: Free Comic Book Day (FCBD). Each year, thousands of participating stores give away over five million comic books to millions of fans to introduce them to the wonders of comics.

"Free Comic Book Day is a great event for the whole community. Bringing everyone together, finding books for everyone to enjoy, and seeing people of all ages—children, teens, and adults—sharing our passion for comics is incredible," said Steve Anderson, owner of Third Eye Comics. "Even if you've never picked up a comic book, we want to welcome everyone to Third Eye Comics on May 4th, because there are so many amazing comics this year and we can't wait to share them."

This is the 11th year Third Eye Comics will celebrate FCBD, offering the community a fun, family-oriented event where everyone can find a comic they'll enjoy. In addition to all those free comics, Third Eye Comics will be hosting huge sales on nearly everything in-store, face-painting, photos with Star Wars characters, and more!

The GSW Lab did the performance testing on older 2012 dual Xeon server with 128 GB RAM. Previously during pre-release testing, GSW connected 2,829 sessions to an individual server. Registration edits are required to connect more than 4,999 sessions to a single server.

US CMBS Delinquency Rate Posts Rare Increase As Pre-Crisis Loans Experience Trouble

The Trepp CMBS Delinquency Rate did something it's only done three times in the last 21 months: it increased. Delinquencies for US commercial real estate loans in CMBS rose one basis point to 2.88% last month, marking the first rate increase in five months. The delinquency reading has dropped 167 basis points year over year.

"The first quarter of 2019 was a mixed bag for the CMBS and CRE markets," said Trepp Senior Managing Director, Manus Clancy." On the positive side, spreads tightened nicely following December's turbulence and CMBS issuance has been steady. However, retail bankruptcies continue to plague that part of the market and hints of a US economic slowdown continue to materialize. We believe the market's current conditions will spur continued delinquency rate drops over the next six months, but those improvements won't be as steep as those from the last 18 months."

Delinquencies for loans in CMBS 2.0+ inched two basis points higher to 0.65% last month. That reading has risen by 10 basis points year over year. The CMBS 1.0 delinquency reading surged 164 basis points higher in March and now registers at 46.47%. Despite the huge jump, the 1.0 rate is still 137 basis points lower than its reading from one year ago.

After posting February's greatest rate drop by property type, the retail sector featured March's greatest increase as its reading jumped 13 basis points to 4.90%. The largest rate drop among major property sectors belonged to the apartment segment, as multifamily delinquencies slid 30 basis points to 2.01% last month. The multifamily rate for loans in CMBS 2.0+ dropped 25 basis points, and the same reading for loans in CMBS 1.0 sunk 120 basis points.

Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement Announces Scholarship Recipients

The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement has announced the eighteen winners of their 2019 scholarship program. Ten thousand dollars will be awarded to each of the students for a total of $180,000 to pursue their careers in the agriculture industry. The recipients are:

"We are excited to award the winners of this year's scholarship program," says Dale Hershey, Chairman of the Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement. "The Board is confident in the futures of all eighteen students and the agriculture industry."

The non-profit Foundation was established in 2015 and is funded by participating association MidAtlantic Farm Credit. The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement's scholarship program awards scholarships valued at $10,000 to high school seniors or students currently enrolled in an advanced educational program. The applicants must be planning to pursue a career in agriculture and reside in a county within MidAtlantic Farm Credit's five-state territory.

"We received more than 100 applications again this year from students across our region, making the selection process a challenging one," adds Hershey. "I would encourage any student pursuing a career in agriculture to apply for our scholarship program this year."

Kimble Tops Momentum Grid on G2 Crowd for Second Season
