Birch Gold Group Releases Scam Protection Resource Guide to Help Consumers Fight Cybercrime, Fraud

As an organization that believes in educating Americans to help them build financial success over a lifetime, Birch Gold Group is pleased to announce the release of the Birch Gold Group Scam Protection Resource Guide, available now at birchgold.com.

With the rise of the Internet and the availability to conduct almost every sort of financial transaction online in mere seconds, the ability of scammers to dupe innocent people out of their money has never been easier. Internet fraud is responsible for more than $100 billion in losses by companies and individual citizens each year in the U.S.

This comprehensive online manual is consumers' chance to arm themselves with the information required to fight back.

WHAT'S INSIDE

The Birch Gold Scam Protection Resource Guide's expansive list of topics includes, but is not limited to:

Peter Reagan, Financial Market Strategist at Birch Gold, said the guide's inspiration came from the precious metals company's own look into how to protect against fraud.

"After kicking off our research, we found many other online resources that provided some solid, foundational information," Reagan says. "However, almost all went just one or two layers deep, so they felt incomplete to us. We believe that our guide serves as one of the most thorough and comprehensive resources out there for investors who want to educate themselves."

THE POWER OF EDUCATED CUSTOMERS

Releasing the Birch Gold Group Scam Protection Resource Guide aligns with the company's philosophy of educating its customers to make informed decisions.

The guide isn't limited to the fraud and online scam worries of 2019. Because it exists online, it is a living, changeable document. Birch Gold Group will add ongoing updates with alerts to the newest scams as they come into play, meaning that the guide will be a perfect resource for battling fraud both today and tomorrow. It also includes links to third-party resources that offer additional information on modern-day Internet scams and how to recognize, avoid, and report them.

The major scams listed aren't just given in theory. Incorporating extensive research, Birch Gold Group brings them to life with historical looks at how they were executed in the past to rip off investors for millions.

"In our first outline for the guide, we identified the nine prominent scams that we really wanted to shed light on. We felt strongly about them, but we also had a sense that we needed to bring life to them," says Reagan. "That's when we came up with the idea of highlighting real-life examples for many of these scams, including Bernie Madoff's scheme and how 'The Wolf of Wall Street' pulled off his. We believe that these simple additions will make that section of the guide much more impactful for readers."

The full version of the guide is available here: https://www.birchgold.com/scam-protection-resource-guide/

Jim Feldkamp Celebrates Popular Photo Site’s First Anniversary

Photography enthusiasts will soon be able to take advantage of an exciting online competition and new photography blog website features -- both the brainchild of industry expert Jim Feldkamp, who celebrates his popular photo website's one-year anniversary this month.

Feldkamp welcomes the first anniversary of his photography blog website, located at http://www.jimfeldkamp.com/, with higher-than-expected traffic results for the third quarter of 2018. In fact, traffic rose 35 percent compared with the same time last year.

As a thank you to all of his readers, Feldkamp said he will soon release information about a competition he plans to host. More details about the competition are slated to be released in the coming month. In the meantime, Feldkamp will be releasing version 2.5 of his blog website ahead of schedule, with the social media integration that his readers have been asking for during the past few months.

Feldkamp's motivation for creating the blog website was to share his passion for and expertise in photography with online readers. Feldkamp is especially drawn to nature photography, as according to him, photographers cannot snap a shot of a certain landscape more than once and experience the exact same result. This is what keeps nature photography especially exciting in his eyes.

On his website, readers can access up-to-date industry information through Feldkamp's blog, where he highlights a variety of photography topics that his readers have expressed interest in learning about. For example, the blog offers tips for taking alluring pictures, as well as some of the best national parks for capturing photos. As an example, Feldkamp acknowledges on his website that one of his favorite photo-taking spots is Florida's Biscayne National Park, where marine life and remarkable landscapes offer some of the best material for photographers to capture.

Feldkamp said he hopes that through his website, readers can quickly increase their knowledge of photography and enjoy this dynamic field at a new level in the months and years ahead.

MDSL Announces Cloud Services Expense Manager, The Natural Extension of Technology Expense Management

MDSL, a global leader in Technology Expense Management ("TEM") solutions, has announced the general availability of their Cloud Services Expense Manager (CSEM) module as part of the MDSL TEM solution offering. The new module allows enterprise clients to manage spend for cloud services across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). According to Gartner, through 2020, 80% of organizations will overshoot their cloud IaaS budgets due to a lack of cost optimization approaches.*

"The cloud has become more ubiquitous and our enterprise clients continue to share their struggles managing the increasing costs, the sprawl of resources, and lack of management associated with it," said Charles Layne, Chief Executive Officer of MDSL. "Given our history of managing complex technology spend within the enterprise, we are in a unique position to manage all types of cloud spend through the MDSL platform. By creating a tailored offering, with specific nomenclature and reporting for those who manage cloud assets, we've simplified the experience for our users and provided actionable business intelligence."

CSEM is a cloud-based software solution that allows IT budget owners to manage the cost and usage of cloud resources across departments, projects, or individuals. Leveraging automated vendor API integrations to import detailed usage data (both billed and unbilled), users are able to configure business rules around the processing, allocation, and reporting of cloud expenses through a single, centralized expense management platform. Users can manage these cloud expenses alongside other complex technology spend categories within the MDSL solution to capture a total cost of ownership.

More info here.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/manscaped-and-bespoke-post-partner-on.html

What separates the MDSL solution is the extensible technology that leverages a single, unified platform used for more than 20 years to manage enterprise technology and financial subscription services. The contract structure and instance billing of IaaS and PaaS mimic the structure and components of traditional fixed voice and data services. SaaS subscriptions behave similarly to traditional market data services like Bloomberg, Reuters, and FactSet, which MDSL manages for the largest financial institutions in the world.

Early adopters of the CSEM functionality experienced a large reduction in management overhead for administrative processes and valuable insight into the breadth of their cloud estate. One pilot customer, a $5B consumer products company, quickly discovered that while they had half the cloud accounts they originally expected, the spend on those accounts was more than twice what was budgeted. In addition, the CSEM uncovered a nearly $1M PaaS licensing fee which would have otherwise gone unnoticed.

Hyoun Park, CEO and Principal Analyst at Amalgam Insights, who regularly covers the technology expense management space, also made a prediction in a recent report on the growth of the market. Over the next five years, Amalgam estimates that about 20% of cloud infrastructure will be managed by third-parties, making cloud IaaS management roughly a $400 million market in 2022. Click here to read the latest news.

"Cloud expenses are simply another type of recurring technology spend that the enterprise needs to manage," said Simon Mendoza, Chief Technology Officer at MDSL. "Given the size of these growing expenses, enterprises should implement standard processes for capturing, reporting and allocating not just for cloud expenses, but for all spend categories and gather intelligence across their entire technology estate." MetaX Introduces adChain Audits to Help Clients Detect and Reduce Fraud in Digital Campaigns

MetaX, an independently-owned blockchain company dedicated to fighting digital ad fraud, introduces adChain Audits, a new product offering that leverages machine learning and human expertise to detect and neutralize the impacts of fraud in digital advertising campaigns. By measuring the validity and authenticity of each supporting channel, adChain Audits ensures marketers reach intended audiences and optimize their supply chain.

MetaX is known for developing the first Token-Curated Registry of community-approved publishing sites launched on the Ethereum blockchain, the adChain Registry. MetaX, in keeping to the spirit of transparency that blockchain technology engenders, shares campaign data with each adChain Audits client and operates in an open-book fashion.

Complete, supporting data - Ken Brook, CEO of MetaX, articulated the company's commitment to transparency in this way: "Our platform and methodology offer the right blend of technology and human capabilities. We present supporting evidence on the types of fraud impacting our client's campaigns, allowing them to take appropriate action. There's no black box, just the data, and we're letting the data tell the story."

Independent audit process - Dr. Augustine Fou, Independent Cybersecurity and Ad Fraud Researcher who worked with MetaX to develop the adChain Audits service, explains, "most ad fraud today is not done by bots anymore. Think mobile. The millions of impressions caused by rogue flashlight and keyboard apps, for example, pass through current detection methods. But when you have detailed data and an audit process to analyze it, we catch the fraud that is still getting through. This is what real transparency means." Read here.

The SVP of Media of a global cosmetics company said, "We like the control that the audit process gives us since fraud is not strictly black or white. There was a case in which we bought media directly from a publisher who was also buying traffic. We didn't want to turn them off completely, but armed with this analysis, we improved our media further by avoiding the inventory coming from sourced traffic. This improvement would not have been possible if the fraud detection technology had decided what to do for us."

Read this for more information.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/hills-pet-nutrition-helps-pet-parents.html

Live fraud reduction - When clients are able to review the data themselves and recognize what is fraudulent, they can have their agency turn off the offending domains and apps while their campaigns are still running. Compared to post-mortem fraud reporting, live mitigation means more money is spent immediately on impressions seen by actual people, not bots.

adChain Audits partners are already seeing measurable impact from turning off fraudulent sites and apps while campaigns are still active. Recent research with a leading entertainment studio uncovered fraudulent sites that bypassed IVT detection tech. Several discoveries of sites misrepresenting their inventory were removed, including instances where social referral traffic was deliberately faked. These findings contributed to a cleaner supply chain, and as a result, within three weeks of applying MetaX's methodology, the company reduced the client's fraudulent bot traffic from 20% to 1% and fraudulent site traffic from 14% to 3%.

"MetaX developed adChain Audits because existing fraud detection tech alone was not enough to protect clients' digital investments," continued Brook. "The combination of machine learning and trained auditors who conduct an in-depth analysis of complete data sets means we actually help clients catch and better understand the hidden fraud that is still impacting their campaigns."

Mike Holmes Jr. And Sherry Holmes Roof It Right | DIY Network Hosts Launch Webisode Series Featuring Atlas Shingles With Scotchgard™ Protector By 3M

Mike Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes grew up watching their celebrity dad, Mike Holmes, "Make It Right." Now it's their turn as they host an exclusive five-part web series, Roof It Right, in which they team up with Atlas Pro™ contractors to replace ugly, streaky roofs for two lucky homeowners. Read news here.

"We're thrilled to partner with the Holmes group on this special project," says Stan Bastek, director of marketing and sales development for Atlas Roofing Corporation. "And, we're proud to manufacture shingles with Scotchgard™ Protector by 3M, which are a HOLMES Approved Product. It's a win-win relationship for everyone involved."

While the Holmes siblings usually share the spotlight with their father, they took on this mini-series by themselves — with confidence.

"Our dad taught us everything we know," Mike Jr. says. "Because of him, Sherry and I are passionate about what we do and feel honored to be able to help so many people 'Make It Right' — in this case, Roof It Right."

Mike Jr. joined George Boudreaux, owner of Pelican Roofing in Lafayette, LA, at the home of Carl and Ann Leblanc, who began noticing black streaks on their roof about four years ago.

Sherry Holmes met up with Kyle Grasso, president of A-Team Roofing in Collierville, TN, and homeowners Mark and Donna Collinsworth, who have been living with ugly algae stains on their roof for more than five years.

"It's all about using the right products for the right job," Sherry Holmes says. "Atlas shingles with Scotchgard Protector by 3M look amazing because they resist unsightly algae and their beautiful color is not going to get covered by black streaks."

Unlike competitors' algae-resistant shingles, Atlas shingles with Scotchgard Protector come with a lifetime warranty against the black streaks caused by blue-green algae.

"None of the competition does what Atlas does," says Boudreaux. "Atlas has a minimum of 10 percent copper granules infused into the shingle and that prevents the algae growth. This warranty is the best in the business in terms of algae resistance."

Both Roof It Right crews installed an Atlas Signature Select® Roofing System, including Atlas Pinnacle® Pristine shingles with Scotchgard Protector by 3M. The Leblancs decided on classic Hearthstone Gray, while the Collinsworth family chose Copper Canyon, one of the new colors available in the Natural Expressions color palette.

"Atlas Pinnacle Pristine is our go-to shingle," Boudreaux says. "It's what I put on my personal properties.

"Contractors are only as good as the products they install. We can do a perfect job, but if we're using an inferior material, it's just not going to last. Atlas shingles featuring Scotchgard Protector mean quality. I have peace of mind knowing that our customers can enjoy a roof free of the ugly black streaks caused by algae."

With the power of Scotchgard Protector by 3M, the homeowners' new roofs will maintain their curb appeal for years.

"When you choose Atlas shingles featuring Scotchgard Protector, the color you purchase is the color you keep!" Grasso says. "We take pride in standing behind products that are just as beautiful 10 years later as the day of the install." Continue reading.

Mike Jr. and Sherry Holmes have taken part in countless projects and TV shows over the years, but this one was especially memorable for them. Be alert to the latest news.

"We had a lot of fun making this webisode series," Sherry Holmes says. "Getting to show the homeowners their finished roofs and seeing the smiles on their faces was priceless."

The first of the five weekly "webisodes" begins airing Feb. 26 on the Mike Holmes YouTube channel. Be alert to read related news.
