Nationwide Alliance of Corporations, Media Outlets, and Nonprofits Fight Hate With Understanding Through Trailblazing “Oneday Against Hate” Movement

A diverse coalition made up of corporations, media outlets, nonprofits, and youth movements including NAACP (The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), PwC, Human Rights Campaign (HRC), UnidosUS, ADL (the Anti-Defamation League), and The African Middle Eastern Leadership Project (AMEL) is mobilizing to speak out against hate by fostering conversations of understanding with a new movement, Oneday Against Hate, the first national day of action on Monday, October 1, 2018. The Oneday Against Hate alliance, which is growing rapidly, also includes fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), the non-denominational Jewish youth group BBYO, the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), Pac-12 (Pacific Coast Conference), and fraternity Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT).

Lerner and Rowe Help to Let the Dogs Out by Sponsoring #LovePup’s 2nd Annual Family Fest in Mesa

As such, they've announced that they will be sponsoring the #LovePup Family Fest at Vertuccio Farms in Mesa on September 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. The other two include a $25k donation to help launch #LovePup's Hip to Chip program and a community sponsorship for the #LovePup Family Fest in Tucson. Admission is free for the Mesa Family Fest, but donations have been requested to help offset the costs of caring for foster dogs until they get adopted in a forever home.
