California Mover Ship Smart Inc. Launches Annual Scholarship Program For College Students

Ship Smart Inc., a California-based mover that specializes in small moves, has launched a scholarship program aimed at benefiting students attending colleges, universities, and schools. The program, dubbed 'The Ship Smart Scholarship' is now underway and applicants from all across the US are free to apply.

"We started this scholarship program because we wanted to give back to the community", said Matt from Ship Smart Inc. "We deliberated on how best we could do this and (in the end) we decided to create something that would benefit kids in school. Our research showed us that students in universities, colleges, and similar learning institutions face various financial challenges on a daily basis. We therefore decided to make this demographic our target beneficiary. We are hoping that in due time, this program can grow bigger and benefit even more people."

The Ship Smart Scholarship has four awards. The first award is for $1000, the second is for $500, while the third and fourth awards are worth $300 each. The application window is open between now and December 7, 2018. All students with a GPA of 3.0 and above are eligible to apply, regardless of their age. Students of truck-driving schools and logistics programs are also allowed to apply. To join, all interested candidates should send a 1000 word essay/article to eservices(at)shipsmart(dot)com. The essay/article should talk about small moves, shipping furniture, antiques,electronics, artwork, packing or any of the services that the company deals in. The scholarship committee will pick a winner on December 14th.

Ship Smart Inc. hopes that through this scholarship program, they will be able to help some needy students, albeit in a small way. The financial help, which will be channeled directly to the schools, can help with tuition, learning materials, etc. The moving company is also hoping that their program will encourage other companies to initiate similar attempts aimed at giving back to the community.

Dan Gallagher, Recently Retired 30-Year Certified Financial Expert, Launches The Secrets of Successful Financial Planning for Take-Charge Consumers

Dan Gallagher, author, keynote speaker and recently retired, nationally recognized Certified Financial Planner with over 30 years of professional experience, launches The Secrets of Successful Financial Planning. Tennis Legends Are Created Here at the Sports Legends Experience at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

DMCC and German Arabian Business Advisory bring Dubai to Dusseldorf with new representative office

DMCC, the world's flagship Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise, announced the official opening of its representative office operated by the German Arabian Advisory GmbH in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Opening a representative office in one of Germany's economic and trade centres, brings DMCC to the doorstep of European clients, and will offer businesses a simpler route to company formation without the requirement of travel to Dubai.

Services on offer in Düsseldorf include: consulting and execution of free zone company formation in DMCC; preparation of documents and power of attorney; visa application; assistance with annual financial audit and advice on serviced offices in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) district. Düsseldorf – which is only a short train journey from London, Paris, and Berlin – also provides quick and easy access to Dubai for clients based in Europe, with direct air service through Emirates Airline.

Speaking in Düsseldorf, the Executive Chairman of DMCC, Ahmed Bin Sulayem expressed the growing appetite shown by German and European companies to explore closer trade ties with Dubai, and understand how to utilize the free zone's strong commodity connections and trade routes to push into China and Africa:
