West Shore Plaza Hosts Wicked Spooky Party with Free Candy, Costume Contest, and Family Fun

It's trick-or-treating fun for the whole family! Join the shops at the West Shore Plaza in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, as they welcome children of all ages and furry friends to the second annual "Wicked Spooky Party" on Tuesday, October 23, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 1200 Market Street.

Stroll the West Shore Plaza promenade for treats, giveaways, and a costume contest with prizes featuring BOB 94.9 radio personality and event emcee Nancy Ryan. Families and pets are invited to dress up in their Halloween best to participate in the WSP "Howl-o-ween" Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Superhero, Best Vintage, Best Couple, Scariest, Most Creative, Best Group, Best Pet, Best Homemade, Funniest, and more!

"After an extremely successful opening year hosting over 500 children, adults, and pets, we are thrilled to invite the community for an evening of Halloween festivities," says Rick Jordan III, President & CEO of Smith Land & Improvement Corporation and owner of the West Shore Plaza. "Halloween retail spending hit a record high last year of $9.1 billion, with 179 million individuals buying costumes, candy, and decorations. I've seen the enthusiasm firsthand! We were overwhelmed by the community response last year, and our tenants are excited to welcome hundreds of new shoppers and future customers. Meet our store owners, visit new shops, enjoy free treats, win prizes, and stay for dinner." Click here to read the latest news.

Nancy Ryan, Wicked Spooky Party costume contest judge, will be stationed at the BOB 94.9 booth in front of Ritter's True Value Hardware. "We are ready for double trouble this year at the second annual Wicked Spooky Party! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and judging from last year's amazing turnout, it's a family favorite. You're never too old to dress up, get silly, and eat sweet treats. I can't wait to see the adorable pet costumes too," says Ryan.

"As a small business owner, I love any opportunity to get the community together. Seeing the kids dressed up, meeting their parents, and snapping pics of all the adorable pets is such a joy for my entire staff. We're all looking forward to making this year even better," says Kristin Novinger, Owner of K Novinger Jewelry in the West Shore Plaza.
