CompUSA Acquired by Startup Coupon and Deal Hunting Site DealCentral

Yishai Grossman, founder of DealCentral, LLC, announced today that they have acquired CompUSA. DealCentral, LLC is a privately held company that operates DealCentral.com, a startup deal hunting and coupons website and community. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The new leadership team behind CompUSA brings together decades of affiliate, ecommerce and deal hunting experience. The iconic brand will relaunch on October 15th, 2018 as a consumer resource and virtual marketplace for computer deals featuring brands like Apple, Dell, HP and Microsoft as well as individual computer components, users and staff ratings as well as information and deals on laptop and desktop computers, consumer electronics, technology products, computer services and more.

"Acquiring CompUSA makes sense for us on so many levels," said Yishai Grossman, founder of DealCentral LLC. "Out of the gate we can offer the best deals, sales and coupons from all around the web in one place from our partner stores like Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy. Then, come the holiday shopping season, we will host all of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads, break down the massive sales and keep everyone up to date about the hottest deals. No single site brings together a truly great community, completely honest reviews and the best price online for things you really want from stores you actually trust. So we did it. CompUSA is Back!"
