The resort's 15th annual Lone Star Christmas, presented by Pepsi, will feature a variety of holiday activities, live entertainment, and grand décor to celebrate the season!
Beginning November 9, 2018 – January 1, 2019, Lone Star Christmas will the biggest winter destination in the state of Texas, offering the most magical holiday fun! Located in the official "Christmas Capital of Texas", Gaylord's holiday events will feature:
FEATURED HOLIDAY EVENTS WILL INCLUDE:
1) ICE!® featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
ICE!, presented by Lexus and DEI, is a walk-through holiday attraction kept at a chilly 9 degrees featuring two million pounds of hand‐carved, life-size ice sculptures and scenes, an ice bar (for ages 21 and up), five ice slides, a life-sized Nativity and more! Complimentary parkas are provided, but bring your mittens and hats!
2) Snow Tubing
It's going to SNOW at Gaylord Texan! Grab a tube and enjoy a thrilling ride down our two-story, 12.-lane snow tubing hill made with two million pounds of real snow!
3) Ice Skating
Enjoy a perfect day or evening under the stars by going on a yuletide glide at Gaylord Texan's 6,000 square-foot outdoor ice rink. Christmas in Grapevine has never been more fun!
4) Mrs. Claus' Christmas Traditions
Delight in the reading of classic holiday stories and sing along to Christmas carols, all while enjoying a batch of Mrs. Claus' world famous cookies and a glass of ice cold milk. Read this for more information.
5) Gingerbread Decorating Corner
This fun, interactive decorating tradition just got a whole lot sweeter! You can choose from a tasty gingerbread cookie family kit, a snowman kit, a traditional gingerbread house kit.
