Teen Graphic Novel Series 'Style Engineers Worldwide' Makes Comixology Debut

'Style Engineers Worldwide' follows the adventures of Tilly Tailor, a 16-year-old budding fashion designer with a big secret: she has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. Tilly and her diverse group of friends form the "Style Engineers Worldwide Circle" by marrying fashion and technology to tackle humanitarian issues – ranging from the prevention of rhino poaching in Tanzania to the creation of medical wearables for young hospital patients.

Written by Kristen O. Bobst and illustrated by Sonia Liao, 'Style Engineers Worldwide' is a visually stunning graphic novel series that encourages social impact and STEM education for a diverse audience. Bobst notes, "It's been such an exciting journey to grow along with these characters and to witness people enjoying these stories and becoming aware that they too can make a difference." Her first iteration of the concept was a Top 10 Finalist out of 2,000+ global submissions at The Next MacGyver Competition, which focused on discovering the next great TV show to inspire females to pursue STEM fields.
