Fennec launches Kickstarter campaign for smartwatch designed to give kids freedom

The Fennec Watch One provides the essentials of a smartphone, without apps that can be time-consuming and potentially unsafe for kids. It comes equipped with the Fennec Messenger app, an instant messaging system that's fun and safe for family and friends. It is available for iOS and Android. The watch has a SIM card slot and a built-in speaker and rotating camera to take or make voice or video calls.

"Most parents didn't grow up with smartphones. But these have become part of a child's social ecosystem and caregivers can be understandably nervous about what their kids are exposed to, especially via apps like Snapchat and Instagram," said founder and CEO Stephen Tseng. "But as much as they want to keep their kids safe on the internet and on their phone, parents don't also want to limit life experiences and independence. Hearing this from friends and family, we took on the challenge and came up with Fennec One."

Fennec Messenger acts as a safe network for kids so strangers won't be able to friend or talk to them unless they are approved by their parents through the app. Parents can also choose from a variety of flexible management options such as "usage control" which manages how much time kids spend texting or playing games. It also

Parents and kids can set up event reminders and the watch will send an alert and/or vibrate. Kids can also listen to music on the go by connecting a Bluetooth headset, and play games.

"Fennec One has been a project we've been working hard on for the past year and we're hoping it can help parents and their children as they navigate through changes in technology. We're finally proud to present Fennec One to the world!" said Tseng.

Fennec One is currently available on Kickstarter with an estimated delivery date of Jun 2020. Media wishing to interview their personnel should contact PR agent, Jessica Sanchez at jessica@properpropaganda.net.

Unsolved Case Files Unveiled At The International Toy Fair

Goliath is showcasing Unsolved Case Files, the cold case mystery game, at Toy Fair New York at the Javits Center from February 22-25.

Unsolved Case Files was founded by John Carroll and Lou Wilson. True crime is trending, and Goliath is proud to be partnered with the first innovators to take the lead on incorporating true crime into the world of traditional tabletop. In turn, shaking up the industry. Read this for more information.

Press and members of the media are invited to tour Goliath's booth, #623, for a first-hand look at what's trending in the board game industry. Recordings and photos are highly encouraged.

Unsolved Case Files launched on Amazon in November 2018 and quickly became a viral sensation. Players take on the role of amateur detectives as they work to find clues and put together evidence to solve a murder and ultimately convict the killer.

The game is brought to life with realistic components, such as newspaper articles, crime scene photographs, evidence, interrogations, statements and more.

The online companion site works to guide players through the game with carefully cultivated hints and revealing the answers when players have cracked the case.

"We've really got something special here, and people are able to totally immerse themselves into the true crime sleuthing experience," said David Norman, President of Goliath.

"It's more than just a puzzle. It's about observation skills and using logic to deduce the identity of the killer. You might solve it in a night, or it might take you a week – there's no wrong way to play."

Goliath's booth will be open to press and members of the media for appointments, interviews and an exclusive look at Unsolved Case Files.

"As the democratization of data proliferates, making health choices simpler and easier to access, we should find that tweaking our microbiome can benefit our health in ways we can now still only imagine. The microbiome should be the story of the '20s."

Spearheaded by the RAIN Group Center for Sales Research, the group of analysts studied responses from 264 sellers and 449 buyers (247 business buyers and 202 procurement and purchasing professionals) representing $2.59 billion in annual purchases in over 26 industries across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

"Negotiation is different than it was even just a decade ago. We wanted to better understand the factors influencing negotiation outcomes, the tactics used by both sellers and buyers, and to learn what works and what doesn't in negotiations today," said Mike Schultz, president of RAIN Group and director of the Center for Sales Research.

The study looked at what top performers in sales negotiation do differently from the rest, negotiation tactics used by both buyers and sellers, what buyers want, the role of price, and the impact of negotiation training.

Schultz added, "We studied major factors that affect negotiations such as how prepared a seller is, to what degree the buyer is price sensitive, seller understanding of power and leverage as well as negotiation tactics. What we found is fascinating."

Below are a few discoveries from the study:
