Hire Heroes USA and Cheryl Saban Self-Worth Foundation for Women & Girls Partner to Provide Empowerment Workshops for Women Veterans

Hire Heroes USA and The Cheryl Saban Self-Worth Foundation for Women & Girls today announced that they will continue their partnership to support women veterans and service members as they transition out of the military and into the civilian workforce. The partnership began in 2017 and has supported 134 women veterans in their job searches. The new agreement will fund five Female Veteran Empowerment Workshops and access to Hire Heroes USA's extensive suite of services for at least 325 participants. Workshops exclusively supporting women veterans have already been held in Los Angeles, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, and Fayetteville, NC, this year; upcoming events are scheduled for San Antonio, TX, and Fort Belvoir, VA.

Participants will be able to take advantage of multiple services from Hire Heroes USA, including virtual career coaching where clients receive one-on-one assistance from individually assigned Transition Specialists. Each client is individually guided through how to create a professionally-revised resume, learn effective job search techniques, and understanding her transferable skills. A network of nearly 700 volunteer mentors will help support participants with industry-specific mentoring, mock interviews, and networking opportunities. Finally, participants will receive access to the Hire Heroes USA Job Board and training resources.

Next Tier HD Completes Phase I of Midtown Atlanta

On May 23, 2019, the Governor for the State of Georgia joined a delegation from the City of Atlanta, the Georgia Institute of Technology ("Georgia Tech"), Next Tier HD, Portman Holdings and DataBank to cut the ribbon for the Coda project (http://www.codatechsquare.com ). Located within the Technology Square sector of Midtown Atlanta, Coda co-locates big data, super computers and collaborative office space to create a highly curated research environment that is comprised of a 722,000 square foot office tower and a 100,000 square foot high density data center.

While the 22-story office tower developed by Portman Holdings (http://www.portmanholdings.com ) introduces a refreshing twist to the world of collaborative architecture, the data center's advanced, high density design allows Georgia Tech, and enterprise research affiliates, to deploy racks of computers using up to 10X the power of conventional IT configurations. Georgia Tech selected Next Tier HD to develop the data center after a national selection process because of their experience in developing high density.data centers (http://www.nexttierhd.com).

According to Tony Zivalich, Georgia Tech's Executive Director of Real Estate, "The high performance computing center is the backbone of our research initiatives in big data and the associated analytics. We view this as a unique opportunity to create a living lab that not only supports research in these key areas, but research in how a data centers optimizes energy consumption, sustainability and operations in supporting research computing."

The challenge was to build the 4-story Coda data center on top of a 5-story parking garage, and partially under the adjoining 22-story office tower, and then find places for generators, chillers, cooling towers, water and fuel storage facilities, meet me rooms, support space and the data labs, all without straying beyond a strict 100,000 square foot air rights box. Coakley notes, "This was like building a rocket ship in a phone booth, and it required the entire development team to retool our perspective from square feet to square inches, with each phase passing muster with a room full of the Georgia Tech professionals tasked with supporting this research computing initiative."

Next Tier HD competed for this opportunity in affiliation with the veteran mission critical team noted below and collaborated closely with the Portman Holding's team throughout the process. Georgia Tech has leased 25% of the data center's critical power capacity, with expansion rights for an equivalent amount of space and power. MidAtlantic Farm Credit Hires Loan Officer in Chestertown

MidAtlantic Farm Credit recently announced the hiring of Tyler Majchrzak as a loan officer. He will be based in the association's office in Chestertown, Maryland. Read all the latest news.

In his role as a loan officer, Majchrzak will be working with farmers and land owners on Delmarva as a partner to provide the best financing for their operations and dreams.

A current resident of Hartly, Delaware, Majchrzak grew up in Federalsburg, Maryland and attended the University of Kentucky, earning a degree in Technical Education in Agriculture. He previously worked for Reproduction Specialty Group as a Client Relations and Education Specialist, where he worked on client outreach, retention and scheduling on-farm and in-facility breeding days.

Majchrzak was involved in 4-H and FFA, serving as President of Maryland FFA from 2013-2014. He raised and showed purebred Hampshire sheep at the local and national level, and currently owns sheep with his father, raising and selling breeding stock.

KnowBe4’s Year-Over-Year Sales Skyrocket 50% Over Q2 2019 for Another Record-Breaking Quarter

In the Second Quarter of 2019, KnowBe4 has reached an impressive 50% over Q2 2018 along with increasing customer accounts to over 26,000.

The 25th consecutive quarter of explosive growth has been driven by an increase in demand for KnowBe4's new-school approach, accompanied by rapidly expanding security awareness training content portfolio. The demand continues to grow globally as KnowBe4 increases its worldwide expansion with the acquisition of CLTRe, cementing its presence as Europe's leading security awareness training and phishing platform. MGA Entertainment's L.O.L. Surprise! Grew 47 Percent in May 2019

According to The NPD Group's May 2019 U.S. Toys Executive Summary, MGA Entertainment's L.O.L. Surprise! grew 47 percent in May 2019 versus the previous year.

The NPD Group Toys Executive Summary is a monthly report that is sent to NPD clients who subscribe to NPD's U.S. Toys Retail Tracking Service. The report includes an industry overview and year-to-date trend.

On June 27, 2019, NPD issued an incorrect executive summary, stating that L.O.L. Surprise! declined 21 percent when, in fact, it increased 47 percent in May 2019 versus the previous year. The correct summary was reissued on June 28, 2019.

"We extend our apologies to MGA Entertainment and others who may have been affected by the incorrect data," said Joanne Hageman, President U.S. Entertainment Sector at The NPD Group. "Although the executive summary is sent only to NPD clients, in the event that the corrected data was not seen by those who saw the original, we want to set the record straight."
