New Interactive Digital Signage Solution RF PUSH ups the Convenience Ante in Tandem With Videotel Digital IPM+ Inter-Play Module

Videotel Digital announces the launch of their latest interactive digital signage solution, the RF PUSH for the IPM+ Inter-Play Module. Able to connect to eight of the company's digital signage media players, the IPM+ Inter-Play Module is an external interactive module that can receive triggered playlist content to create interactive experiences. Now, thanks to their on-point development of RF device, Videotel Digital launches the RF PUSH. It gives interactive experiences the occasion they need to intrigue passersby remotely.

To explain its technical side, the RF PUSH solution was created to wirelessly connect to the IPM+ Inter-Play Module so it could conveniently trigger multiple video files with an eight button remote. So, each button on the remote will prompt one corresponding media player to play content. Given the eight buttons, that racks up eight different screens, in eight different rooms, each playing unique content all controlled by one small remote. Packing an extra wallop, that one small remote has a connectivity range of approximately fifty feet.

Some applications that will benefit from the new media player solution are:

Adding to the versatility of the new solution, the remote can be used with one IPM+ Inter-Play Module to trigger just one screen piloted by one player containing eight video files as well.

The Junior League of Boston Recognizes Outstanding Volunteers

The Junior League of Boston (JL Boston) is pleased to recognize four of its members for their outstanding volunteer work over the past year. The annual Volunteer Recognition Awards are presented to one Active, one Sustainer, and one New Member who in their current volunteer assignments go above and beyond what is asked of them, and embody the mission of the Junior League of Boston. One award is given for each category of our membership.

The New Member award is for someone in her first year of membership in JL Boston. This year, Courtney Scrubbs was recognized for her work as a member of the Training Council focusing on crafting training programs where members could shape JL Boston's advocacy efforts in support of combating sexual and domestic violence. Courtney was especially instrumental in organizing JL Boston's winter Salon Series, intimate discussions with civic leaders about issues relevant to members and the Boston Community, and the Solutions Summit, which included speakers from Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), RESPOND Inc., Victim Rights Law, and Health Imperatives, as well as keynote speaker Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards.

The Active Member award this year was given to Tara LePage in recognition of her work as co-chair of the Kids in the Kitchen program at the Boston Renaissance Charter School in Hyde Park. Tara planned interactive sessions for the 18 3rd to 5th grade girls participating in the program introducing them to physical wellness and adolescent nutrition and education. Tara was also recognized for her mentorship of other JL Boston volunteers, leveraging her experience to help them be more effective in their roles.

Urszula Wojciechowska was recognized as the Sustainer volunteer award recipient. She is a major contributor to JL Boston's Sustainer Council, which provides social and volunteer opportunities for members who have completed upwards of seven years of service and opted to take Sustainer membership status. Urszula's work this year included chairing a Mid-Winter Fest celebration and seeking creative opportunities for Sustainers to engage with the League.

The Sarah Lawrence Award, named after the Junior League of Boston's founder, is given to an Active or Sustainer who has used her training and experience in the JL Boston to benefit another non-profit organization in the greater Boston area. This year we honored the outstanding efforts of Melissa Lee Alexander in recognition of her work with The Children's Heart Foundation. Melissa is the founding president of the New England Chapter of The Children's Heart Foundation, and raised over $10,000 through the Congenital Heart Walk this year.
