Apparel Company Makes a Difference for Animals While Making a Profit

Have you ever watched those television commercials with sad-looking dogs, and you have to change the channel because you can't bear it? Do you wonder, what can I do to make that dog's sad eyes turn happy? Click here.

If so, you're not alone. That's why Joshua Pletscher, together with Alison Beckmann and Siera Smith, founded Higher Paws, a pet-lover apparel company driven to improve the quality of life for dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds in the Greater Philadelphia area.

More info here.:

https://jessicapressreleases.blogspot.com/2018/05/keywordfirst-rebrands-as-true.html

"We're all life-long pet owners and animal lovers. We love our own companions so much, it pained us to know that there were other dogs and cats out there not receiving the same love – nonetheless shelter and sustenance," said Pletscher, co-founder of Higher Paws.

Higher Paws will fulfill its mission in two ways: 1) Sell pet-lover themed apparel to embrace and grow the pet-lover culture; and 2) Donate proceeds to support the missions of community nonprofits committed to helping animals.

The pet-lover apparel includes tank-tops, t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, and sweatshirts, for men, women, kids, and babies. Apparel designs include phrases like "Wine and Whiskers", "Buy Pizza. Not Puppies", and "Adopt. Don't Shop".

Higher Paws is launching with two community nonprofit partners, Street Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) and Kitty Cottage.

STAR, located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood in Philadelphia, was founded by Lindsay Confefer in 2001. She started her efforts under the roof of her pet boutique, The Chic Petique, by rescuing one dog at a time. In 2010, she acquired a location dedicated to saving animals and capable of rescuing nine dogs at a time. The shelter takes in animals – mostly dogs – only from Animal Control and finds adoption parents generally in 1-4 weeks.

Kitty Cottage, a no-kill, cage-free shelter located in Norristown, PA, has been saving cats and kittens since 2002. The cottage shelters cats, ensures their health, and facilitates adoptions. By allowing potential adopters to interact with the cats in a natural, cage-free, environment, the pair can better gauge the intuitive relationship they plan to build at home. Kitty Cottage save more than 3,000 cats since 2002 and houses between 20 and 40 cats as space permits. Read all the related news.

During Higher Paws's pre-launch, the foundation raised more than $200 in donations to both shelters.

"The more money we can donate, the more our mission will be fulfilled," said Beckmann, co-founder.

Going forward, Higher Paws plans to support more nonprofits focused on helping animals. It also plans to offer new designs, and expand its apparel to hats, dog and cat clothing, and accessories.

Mmojo Introduces Email Finder Web App with Access to Over 100 Million US Business Contacts

Mmojo announced the availability of Email Finder, an easy-to-use Web App that enables users to quickly find valuable contacts from a high quality dataset of over 100 million US business contacts. Free and paid subscriptions are offered.

"Mmojo gives users access to the name, email, phone, LinkedIn, and titles of over 100 million US business contacts that Mmojo sources from industry leading providers," explained Mmojo Founder and Managing Partner Hank Weghorst. "The user experience is simple and streamlined to let users quickly find and download exactly the contacts they need."

Email Finder Overview

Finding business contacts with Email Finder begins by searching for and selecting a company by name or domain, and then using Filters to select from the available contacts for that company. Each time the filters are changed, the user is presented with an updated preview of the selected contacts. Users with paid subscriptions can then export the contacts they have selected. Users with free accounts can view up to 5 contacts.

Filters

"Email Finders filtering capability is unique both in its simplicity and capability to precisely select the contacts the user is looking for," explained Weghorst. "This capability along with more than 100 million business contacts and a simple, self-service, pay-only-for-what-you-need model is why our users as so excited about Email Finder."

Filters include the ability to select contacts by management level, function, title, and the specific type of contact data available (email, phone, or LinkedIn). Email Finders patent pending Contact Matrix allows the user to filter by selecting rows representing management levels, columns representing functions such as sales or finance, and even specific cells within the Contact Matrix. For example, clicking on the Contact Matrix cell at the intersection of the VP row and the Operations column filters for all Vice Presidents within the Operations department. Individual contacts may be selected or deselected from the contact preview prior to export.

Bulk Search

Users can find contacts for multiple companies using Email's Finders Bulk Search capability. With Bulk Search the user enters or uploads a list of companies, applies Filters, and can select a maximum number of contacts per company. Email Finder will present the total contacts found; the number of contacts by company, function and management level; and a preview of the selected contacts. Once filtering is finalized, users with paid accounts may export the contacts. Read news here.

3 Plans

Mmojo offers three plans for Email Finder: Free, Pro and Premium. The Free membership is intended for quick searches to view a limited set of contacts. The Pro and Premium monthly paid subscriptions allow unlimited viewing and allow contacts to be exported to a CSV file at very competitive per contact rates. Both plans include credits for contact exports that rollover if not used. The Premium plan per contact fee is lower than the Pro plan and is intended for users with higher volume contact needs. When a user selects "Export", Email Finder displays the number of contacts to be exported, any contact credits applied and the remaining amount, if any, to be charged. Upon user approval, the export is performed, and the user is charged.

CA Flower Mall Moms Work 24/7 Making LA’s Mother’s Day Flowers

What do you give a flower business Mom for Mother's Day? Momprenuer Mireya Perez, owner of Mireya's Flowers, a floral design and event planning business at CFM is giving the Moms of California Flower Mall a cultural treat dear to their hearts. She is sponsoring three hours of live mariachi serenades on Dia de Las Madres to brighten the day CFM Moms and their extended families. CFM petalers work grueling hours during the holiday week and around the clock Saturday until 7 pm Mother's Day Sunday.

In the LA region there are many ethnically diverse ways to express love for Mom on her special day. Latin American Mother's Day – Dia de Las Madres, observed on May 10th is a very important holiday in Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala."It's a Mexican custom to celebrate Dia de Las Madres by honoring Mothers with flowers, a mariachi serenade and a special dinner cooked just for them. Many Mexican-American families celebrate two Mother's Days – Dia de Las Madres May 10th and Mother's Day Sunday, May 12. That's really good for our businesses," Perez says.

Mother's Day is the third-largest card-sending holiday in the United States, but ranks as the number one card- sending season for Hispanics, even higher than Christmas and Valentine's Day. Arlette Torres, Editorial Director for Sinceramente Hallmark who was born in Mexico underscores the importance of mothers to Hispanic consumers. "Mothers are beloved, deeply respected, revered figures in the Hispanic community," she says. "Her children view her as the source of goodness and love, affection, warmth and forgiveness. She is the idealized female figure, unequaled by other women."

"California Flower Mall is one of Downtown LA's most colorful, exciting urban destinations. It's lush with millions of fresh cut flowers, flower arrangements, plants and bouquets that dazzle the senses. Now, on Dia de Las Madres we'll have live mariachi music May 10th from 5am – 8am. You don't want to miss this, it gets better every year," says Mark Chatoff, owner and president of CFM.
