Boxing has proven to be a fun and effective form of staying in shape. Victoria's Secret Models box to stay in shape, actors do it to gain results quickly, and now house moms and families have been reaping the same benefits. Quiet Punch began as an idea and with the help of his family has become somewhat of a global phenomenon.

Brian Pedone has been boxing since he was 13 years old, and he grew up to run his own boxing gym. He wanted to provide folks with the same full-body workout benefits outside of the ring. Since he couldn't bring everyone to the boxing ring he decided to bring the ring to them.

Quiet Punch can be purchased from multiple locations and plans to expand its global reach. The goal, according to Brian, is to make boxing more accessible to everyone. Regardless of age or skill level.

Photographer Launches New Site: fineartphotographyprints.com to Offer The Most Luxurious Museum-Quality Photography Prints For Homes, Hotels & Offices

California-based fine art photographer, Richard Wong, has just launched his latest venture, fineartphotographyprints.com. This site offers luxurious museum-quality fine art photography prints for art collectors, homes, hotels and offices. The prints consist of masterful renditions of fine art landscapes, nature abstracts and urban architecture scenes.

With today's fast-paced world of Instagram-fueled lifestyles, most photography is essentially forgotten within a few swipes of the phone. The only way to establish a lasting legacy is to create fine art photography prints. Using museum-grade print materials, a well-produced print can last hundreds of years if stored in proper conditions. Click here to read the latest news.

Wong has seen a lot of changes within the photography industry during his two decades as a photographer. That includes the way that artwork is presented. The traditional way to display a photo print would be to matte and frame the print. This is still a beautiful way to showcase photography but can be very costly to the art buyer after material and labor costs are involved. The latest in fine art printing techniques involves acrylic face mount prints.

Fineartphotographyprints.com offers exclusive limited-edition prints that are face mounted onto TruView acrylic glass. This recent technological development has pushed the boundaries of what a two-dimensional medium like photographic prints can achieve. These prints are truly the best available today and pop off the wall with 3d-like effects. Wong's limited-edition prints are limited to the small edition size of 25. Small edition sizes can increase the value of prints for collectors. Some photographers offer edition sizes in the hundreds and thousands but Wong feels that makes a mockery of the concept. Large edition sizes are basically no different from open edition prints. It's just a marketing tactic.

Adding value for art collectors and interior designers, Wong's limited-edition prints come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. These COA's are affixed with a hologram tracking system to prevent the sale of unauthorized counterfeit artwork.

Artist Statement: Born and raised in California, photography initially was just a way for me to document my travels and share them with family and friends. It quickly became a creative outlet for me to express myself as I struggled to establish myself following college while also helping me to cope with my dad's terminal illness. Photography is equal parts art and therapy for me. While my photos might sometimes look beautiful, it is rarely my intent to showcase beauty for beauty's sake. Most of my favorite work seeks to relive specific memories and feelings from my youth. Some photographers scour the planet for the most remote locations possible but I choose to primarily focus on the California Coast, Yosemite and Canada because those are where the majority of my life's best memories are from.

Nearly 20 years later, my photography has been published in many different publications around the world. Print buyers include private collectors for home decor, corporate fine art buyers and art consultants for architectural design jobs. Read latest news here.

Gluten-Free Certification Adds Plant-Based Certification To Meet Consumer Trends

As a BRC Global Standards company, Allergen Control Group (ACG), owners of the Gluten-Free Certification Program (GFCP), are excited to announce the formation of two food-industry stakeholder working groups to support the development and launch of the first internationally recognized and voluntary Plant-Based Certification Program (PBCP). A limited number of seats are still available for participation from key brand owners, grocery retailers and manufacturers. The first face-to-face sessions will be hosted in both North America and Europe, towards the end of February 2019.

With the ever-changing regulatory landscape, and increased consumer demands, brands and manufacturers are even more challenged when making sound and trustworthy specialty-food product claims. "Although, there appears to be little or no current regulations around these claims, our PBCP will be designed to enable consumers to make safe and informed choices, while also meeting the current and future practical needs of our industry," states Paul Valder, president & CEO at Allergen Control Group.

"The key message for the customer related to our PBCP is to communicate that making a plant-based consumer claim is all about food and diet, where vegan claims are strictly a lifestyle. Consumers today want to incorporate plant-based foods into their diet, but do not consider themselves vegan," explains Katie Daniels, Technical Program Manager at ACG. Ms. Daniels goes on to state that "retailers, brands and manufacturers around the globe can now gain operational and financial efficiencies, by combining their existing annual third-party food safety audit, together with both our gluten-free and plant-based certification programs."
As more and more consumers are incorporating plant-based foods into their diets, they are also increasingly discerning when faced with endless product options. When implemented and verified at the manufacturing stage, the PBCP will then be the trusted "on-pack" trademark/symbol to attract customers, differentiate products, build trusted brand loyalty and protect the brand reputation, associated with making such a claim.

About Allergen Control Group

The Allergen Control Group Inc., (ACG) is a Canadian corporation, operating from Toronto, Canada and is North America's leading subject matter expert in the field of gluten-free, allergens and "free-from" food-safety compliance standards and consumer claims. ACG was acquired in April 2018 by London UK based BRC Global Standards. This acquisition now allows both organizations to provide a broader value proposition when helping customers meet industry's growing and rapidly changing food safety and risk management requirements.

Notes to Editors

About BRC Global Standards

The company was founded in 1996 by retailers who wanted to harmonize food safety standards across the supply chain. Today the company is globally recognized across both food and non-food categories and operate the most rigorous third-party certification scheme of its type, with over 28,000 manufacturing sites.

In 2016 BRC Global Standards was acquired by the LGC Group, the leading international life sciences measurement and testing company. This is the next stage of the strategic transition from being a Standards owner to a brand and consumer protection organization with a range of products and services to help its customers deal with the challenges of producing safe, high quality products for the end consumer on a global basis.

Space Probe Delivers ‘A Message from the Neighbours’ in New Science Fiction Novella

Earth's radio telescopes detect a message from intelligent life, in Vincent J. Hyde's new science fiction, "A Message from the Neighbours" (published by Balboa Press). The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Message-Neighbours-Vincent-J-Hyde-ebook/dp/B07JYL8DC6.

A space probe from another galaxy is heading toward the Earth's solar system. Two unarmed astronauts are sent to intercept the space probe one light year from the solar system. When the space probe connects with the shuttle, the space probe's occupant, a robot called Interface, gives the astronauts a visual recording that he explains is the "Message from the Neighbours." Once the astronauts return to Earth, the message plays. It turns out that the message, delivered by Interface's image, is a description of the status of the neighbours star system some 300,000 years ago. Read this for more information.

Hyde hopes that his book pushes readers to consider that "Intelligent life elsewhere in the universe may not necessarily be aggressive and violent if one believes in a Creator."
