Russian Lessons Score Top Marks from TopConsumerReviews.com

TopConsumerReviews.com recently gave their best-in-class 5 star rating to Russian Accelerator for its online lesson platform to learn the Russian language.

From the former nations of the USSR, to business professionals who work overseas, there are over 270 million people worldwide who speak Russian. As a priority target language for the US State Department, NSA, CIA, and other federal agencies, Russian continues to grow in popularity as a field of study. However, unlike Spanish, French, and Chinese, the Russian language isn't frequently offered by immersion-based elementary schools or high schools, and it can be hard to find at smaller community colleges or universities. For this reason, many eager students turn to the internet to find Russian lessons, connecting with native speakers and accessing programs that allow them to learn whenever and wherever convenient without the limitations of a traditional classroom setting or schedule.

"Russian Accelerator succeeds where other language programs fail," stated Brian Dolezal of TopConsumerReviews.com, LLC. "You won't find any other provider of Russian lessons that focuses strictly on the Russian language. This means that Russian Accelerator uses teaching methods that are custom-designed to be effective specifically for that language in just 20-30 minutes each day. We're impressed that their program includes contextual learning, a variety of native speakers, and even a full year of coaching with actual speakers of Russian. Although Russian Accelerator costs more than some Russian lessons, their 1-year satisfaction guarantee ensures that you'll love your progress or you can get your money back. Students rave about their increased fluency when using this language instruction - and about how enjoyable the learning process is. For all of these reasons, Russian Accelerator takes our first-place spot among providers of Russian lessons in 2018."

Institutional Capital to Spark Bitcoin Rally Starting January 2nd, According to Cryptocurrency Investment Firm Sarson Funds.

Bitcoin's price plunge this fall prompted the cryptocurrency community to wonder when the drop might stop. According to one Wall Street veteran turned digital asset investor, Bitcoin's revival begins on January 2, 2019.

In a report published online hours before the end of a tumultuous 2018 for cryptocurrencies, Sarson Funds Managing Partner John Sarson, an early digital asset transparency advocate, said investors should pay attention to inflows of institutional capital starting January 2, 2019.

"Hedge fund managers posses unique insight … into capital flows that are not yet printed," said Sarson. He followed that by stating, "Most other hedge funds would agree (though they might not tell you), that a substantial number of institutional and high net worth prospects have reengaged and have committed capital to cryptocurrencies."

Based in Indianapolis, Sarson Funds' multiple cryptocurrency investment funds share a common theme: an emphasis on investment transparency. When asked about insight into anticipated capital flows, Sarson said metrics derived from observed orderbook information are some of the many data points that play a key role in the firm's rules-based process.

But why will this money wait until January 2nd? "Few investors want an extra K-1 form for just one month of management," said Sarson. Additionally, Sarson noted that "market stability had not yet manifested by December 1st, the cut off for most funds to take on new investments."

Fresh off the heels of opening a new Sarson Funds office in the Boston-area, Sarson made his bullish stance clear, concluding, "On January 2nd, banks will re-open and hedge funds holding on to new deposits will be clear to wire deposits to cryptocurrency exchanges. We expect this influx of orders to be more than enough buying power to cause a massive surge in price – one that we expect to intensify throughout the week as managers scramble into Bitcoin looking for 'crypto-beta' as Bitcoin starts moving."

EXHIBITOR Magazine Releases Research on Marketing-Related Technology

EXHIBITOR magazine, the award-winning leader in trade show and corporate event marketing education, has released the results of its 2018 Marketing Technology Survey, which queried exhibit and event professionals from nearly 200 companies on their experiences with and opinions of marketing-related technologies employed on the trade show floor and as part of their organizations' corporate events.

According to this year's survey results, 96 percent of respondents currently use technology to enhance their marketing efforts in some way, with 84 percent employing various technologies inside their trade show exhibits and 54 percent incorporating technology into their companies' corporate events. Compared to 2016, that marks a 5 percent increase in the number of companies using technology to enhance their exhibits; whereas, event usage has only increased 3 percentage points in the past two years.

Not surprisingly, the most notable increases in exhibit- and event-related technology usage since 2016 were seen in mobile apps, smartphones, geofencing, and virtual reality — each of which experienced growth rates of 50 percent or more. Growth also was reported for microsites, tablet PCs, touchscreens, augmented reality, digital signage, and streaming video. Meanwhile, Quick Response (QR) codes, projection, and virtual events have plateaued, with usage statistically unchanged since 2016.

"Survey results signal that RFID and audience response systems are poised for significant growth," said EXHIBITOR magazine's editor Travis Stanton. "Several respondents report actively considering incorporating those technologies into their 2019 exhibits and events."

Respondents who have used various technologies in the context of their exhibit- and event-marketing efforts indicate that those technologies have led to increases in booth traffic, brand awareness, and sales leads, as well as improved relationships with clients and enhanced staffer/attendee interactions at trade shows and events. And while fewer than a quarter of exhibit managers who have used technology to enhance their trade show exhibits proactively set measurable goals to gauge the effectiveness of those applications, the vast majority (72 percent) report that the technologies they used met or exceeded initial objectives. "It's worth noting that a drop in tech usage occurred between 2014 and 2016, and today's metrics have essentially rebounded to the adoption and application rates measured in 2014," said Stanton. "The data also imply companies that are incorporating marketing-related technologies are dipping their toes deeper into the techno tidal pool than they were in the past, adopting and incorporating multiple technologies, as opposed to one or two applications at a time as the data indicate they were doing back in 2010." Full results from the 2018 Marketing Technology Survey will be published in the December issue of EXHIBITOR magazine, and the article is also available online.

FirstService Residential Dallas and Fort Worth Offices Join Forces to Donate Over 100 Toys to Toys for Tots

Just in time for the holidays, FirstService Residential associates in Dallas and Fort Worth offices collected over 100 toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Items will be distributed to families in need throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. Through this annual initiative, FirstService Residential helps further the mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation: to provide a tangible sign of hope to disadvantaged children at Christmas.

Toys for Tots Drive at FirstService Residential kicked off on "Giving Tuesday" this year. Large donation bins wrapped like Christmas presents were set up throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth offices. Within just one week, the bins were bursting with new toys, games, arts/crafts, books and school supplies contributed by associates.

Toys were then transported to a collection event with U.S. Marines at Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX, and to the Disney Store, which matched each donation with $5 for Toys for Tots.

"Being genuinely helpful in serving our communities is a core value here at FirstService Residential," explains Mira Roxanne Baker, Manager of Communications and Culture and leader of the Toys for Tots drive in Dallas. "Serving our communities means uniting all local community members in a common cause."

Seven million children had a brighter holiday season this year because of the 18 million toys distributed by the Marine Toys for Tots Program. FirstService Residential associates plan to continue helping U.S. Marine Corps spread Christmas cheer to local families in need for years to come.

###

It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community. Last year the Marine Toys for Tots Program fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7 million less fortunate children in 792 communities nationwide. Since 1947 over 244 million children have been assisted.
