The United States has 62 designated national parks that fall under the National Park Service. Last years' government shutdown served to highlight the importance of human care-takers factor into the viability and preservation of these parks. It's more important than ever to raise awareness of the fragility of the parks to keep them safe for current and future visitors of all ages.

At its core, the National Parks Scratch Poster serves as a bucket list of National Parks that can be used to plan park visits. Every time a park is visited, scratching away the outer layer of the picture reveals colors beneath. The poster serves as a thoughtful gift that can also be used as a travel guide for visiting new destinations and inspiring anyone who loves the US, nature lovers, intrepid RVers, students, as well as kids and families alike.

Early-bird contributors to the Kickstarter Campaign will receive a poster for $25 (retail value is $35.99) The duration of the campaign spans 30 days from January 22 to February 22, 2020.

All levels of contributions will be accepted and rewarded - from a hearty 'Thank you' for a $1 to a postcard featuring a favorite park for $5 to pledges of $50 - $100, which results in poster bundles and framing. Backers can also help in other ways by spreading the word on social media.

Since 2017, Newverest has produced several other scratch-off maps highlighting the US. The National Parks map features a fresh, new design. Andrei Griu, Co-Founder of Newverest, inspired by the natural beauty of the parks, worked with a team of artists who hand-painted real scenes from each individual park using watercolor paint. The paintings were then digitized and printed on high-quality paper. The poster also includes a set of hand-painted cards featuring exciting facts about each park.

"The National Parks have a never-ending beauty that reaches from the deepest canyon to the highest mountain, but beauty alone isn't the only reason to care about them. Anything that acts as a home to so much wildlife deserves attention - especially when some of that wildlife is endangered - and bringing attention to the parks means bringing attention to those creatures who can't speak for themselves." Says Griu.

"National Parks are public lands which means they're not owned by the government; they're owned by each and every one of us. And it's up to us to care for them and spread the word. These parks should not be taken for granted, and they need to be visited, explored, and loved. America's parks are beautiful from one end of the country to the other, and we want everyone to experience that beauty firsthand."

The new poster comes in two versions: black and white, and is shipped in a specially crafted tube, making it an immediately gift-ready product.

"We worked really hard to make this poster different, and we are proud of the one-of-kind artistry that went into each individual painting." Says Griu, "It's a way to inspire travelers. The more people visiting National Parks, the more people will educate themselves about the parks, and the more people will understand that this is our treasure, and we need to keep and protect it."

The US-based unique brand aims to single-handedly inspire people to explore the world with its maps taking consumers away from their phone and into 3-d planning.
