Announcing InterActive Cards Inc. – A Mini Computer on a Card

With over ten years of mostly under-the-radar research and development completed, InterActive Cards (IAC) can turn any inanimate card into an actual consumer electronic device.

To do this, IAC's objective is to not only bring interactive cards to the global market, but to do so collaboratively by teaming with existing card manufacturers as well as component suppliers.

"This is a truly exciting time for IAC because we can now provide conventional card manufacturers and component suppliers the ability to leverage IAC's unique interactive card manufacturing process to "bring to life" cards that have only been non-interactive pieces of plastic for decades. And, most importantly, we can do this work as collaborative partners," says David Patterson, IAC President.

IAC, formerly known as FiTeq, has the ability to ramp their manufacturing capacity to over 1.5 million units, per production line, per month. With this production capacity, Patterson believes there is a unique opportunity for conventional card manufacturers:

"One of the most appealing attributes of IAC's InterActive Inlays™ is that changes to the production requirements or manufacturing processes of the partner card manufacturer are negligible. No new equipment or materials are necessary for a card manufacturer to successfully integrate an interactive inlay within a plastic/metal card," he says.

About InterActive Cards Inc. - IAC seeks to bring together component suppliers, card manufacturers and other industry partners to manufacture and promote the use of interactive cards as an alternate class of smart device. IAC has over ten years of development experience in interactive cards and has developed an automated process for prototypes as well as high throughput production of InterActive Inlays™ and cards, each meeting ISO and Mastercard CSI standards.
