Inforalgo Bolsters Board with 2 Further Prestigious Appointments

Inforalgo, the Capital Markets data automation specialist, has announced two additional high-profile appointments to its board of advisors. Harshad Pitkar runs a regulatory reporting and risk compliance consultancy in New York, and Alastair Brown was formerly CEO of Lombard Risk and CIO of RBS International Banking.

The two new Board appointments are a further significant endorsement of Inforalgo's smart data solutions for Capital Markets. Both will help to shape Inforalgo's market position across its product portfolio.

Harshad, whose own risk and compliance consulting business, RegEdge, complements Inforalgo's will help capitalise on Inforalgo's growing prominence in automating regulatory reporting on both sides of the Atlantic.

Alastair will help to amplify the mounting market buzz around Inforalgo's cloud-based data connectivity and management solutions. Today these play an increasingly critical role in simplifying financial institutions' complex and costly connectivity with multiple trading platforms. As well as reining in costs, financial firms need to gain more control and visibility of all of their transaction data for management reporting and compliance purposes.

Alastair also serves as Executive Chairman at independent data consultancy, DTSQUARED and as a Board Advisor to retail banking platform provider, SaaScada.

Welcoming Harshad and Alastair to the business, Jordan Ambrose, Inforalgo's CEO, said, "We are honoured that Inforalgo is attracting such prestigious, high-profile interest and attention from across the global financial industry. We could not be more pleased to have Harshad and Alastair on board to help us capitalise on the significant new wave of business growth that lies ahead for our company."

Inforalgo also recently welcomed Mike Bagguley, formerly COO at Barclays International and a respected financial investment industry leader, as an investor and board advisor. Taking up the position, Mike highlighted the immense potential of Inforalgo's powerful data integration solutions which allow Capital Market transactions to be recorded, processed and reported in sync and with end-to-end visibility, aided by smart automation. This removes considerable pain for financial teams, which can now trade freely without worries about data integrity or compliance.

Monster Energy’s Jose Torres Takes Third Place in BMX Park at Road to X Games Qualifiers in Boise

Monster Energy congratulates team rider Jose Torres from Argentina on claiming third place in the X Games BMX Park Qualifiers at Rhodes Skate Park in Boise, Idaho today. In front of a capacity crowd at the outdoor park and thousands of viewers connected via live stream, the 24-year-old from Cordoba, Argentina punched his very first ticket to compete against the world's best freestyle BMX riders at X Games Minneapolis 2019 in August.

For the third year in a row, the invite-only Road to X Boise Qualifier event provided BMX freestylists from across the globe with a chance to earn one of six tickets into the summer X Games. More than 10,000 fans attended the two-day spectacle – presented free to the public – this year. Fans experienced BMX and Skateboard Park competitions at the modern concrete park underneath an I-184 Interstate bridge in downtown Boise, supplemented by musical performances, food trucks and a festival village.

Torres came to Rhodes Skate Park looking for his first-ever ticket to compete at X Games. The rising South American BMX star had already sealed the deal with a second-place finish in Boise in 2018, but fractured his wrist on a harsh slam in the finals and was sidelined from competing in Minneapolis.

This year Torres was back in full force and blasted through Friday's qualifier and Saturday's semifinal on the strength of massive airs and technical ability. Hitting every corner of the concrete park, Jose packed his final runs in the 18-minute jam session with highlights including huge no-hander pocket air, high-flying 540, double tailwhip the hip, massive flair bar spin, alley-oop no-hander the hip and technical wheelie to bar spin for a third-place finish – and a ticket to X Games Minneapolis 2019. He also stoked the crowd with downside tailwhip switch and backflip over the hip in his semifinals run.

Also making the cut into X Games Minneapolis 2019, Torres' Monster Energy teammate Kevin Peraza looked like a strong contender for a podium spot, but had to settle for fourth place after hurting his ankle on the park's pool coping in the final. Despite the injury, the 24-year-old from Tucson, Arizona stacked his final run with bangers such as huge backside toboggan transfer into the hump, tire grab can-can, superman seat grab Indian over the hip, double tailwhip, no-hander pocket air, and technical downside whip. Peraza won X Games gold in BMX Park in 2017 and will be looking for more precious medal in Minneapolis this August.

A third Monster Energy rider battled his way into X Games: Pat Casey emerged from the X Games BMX Park Qualifiers in Boise in sixth place after stoking the crowd with huge one-foot pocket air, double tailwhip the hip, technical downside whip and perfect 180 tailwhip fakie over the hip. The 25-year-old from Placentia, California already claimed bronze in BMX Park Best Trick at X Games Minneapolis 2017, and took silver in BMX Park at X Games Foz do Iguacu 2013. Congratulations again to all three qualifiers on a strong showing in Boise this weekend.

In case you missed today's live stream from Road to X Games in Boise, you can catch the Boise Park Qualifier coverage on ABC as part of World of X Games on July 13 at 2 p.m. ET/ 3 p.m. PT.

Also make sure to tune in from August 1 – 4 for X Games Minneapolis 2019 when Jose Torres, Kyle Baldock, Jamie Bestwick, Alex Donnachie, James Foster, Dakota Roche, Kevin Peraza, Colton Walker, Ben Wallace, Pat Casey and the rest of the Monster Energy BMX team will be looking for X Games medals at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

After the highly curated selection process, Vivek Mehta's impressive, overall award score earned him the honor as a Top 50Tech leader by InterCon.

Mehta's nomination focused on the real market need for more efficiency in the inspection process paired with his technological leadership leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and advanced Artificial Intelligence, creating the most advanced inspection platform available on the market. Read news here.

Every day, inspectors are deployed into the field to protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, the products we buy and the health and safety of the communities we live in. However, most inspections are performed the same way they were 20 years ago. That means many processes are still paper-based and require a lot of in-office data entry, keeping inspectors out of the field.

The platform enables our customers to modernize inspection operations in days not months or years, and scales to meet the compliance, monitoring, and enforcement needs of any entity.

An ARInspect investor, Sundeep Sanghavi, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of DXPartners said, "Its thrilling to have Vivek's hard work and foresight recognized nationally. It is a true testament to his passion to transform the inspection industry through innovation and leadership that will make our world a better place. New Book Offers Readers Insights On How to Transform the Marathon That Is Their Life

The Marathon of Life is the spiritual journey that we all take on our own as individuals. It is the race that we all run each day with God towards destiny. Some of us are aware of the adventure early on, others reawaken to it later, but we all have opportunities throughout our lifetime to be transformed from what we thought we were into all that we know we are and will become again. In his new book, The Marathon Of Life: Running Your Own Race, author Timothy-Christian guides readers through how to run their own best race and how love is what will empower them to do so.

It is Timothy-Christian's hope that, by the end of the book, readers will go on to rediscover the "LoveChampion" that's inside all of us. LoveChampions are people who surrender to their purpose and consciously create themselves at the highest levels of spiritual consciousness. They learn from all they go through and have fun whenever possible. Whatever it takes to win their championships of love, LoveChampions are willing to endure it. They never give up. And when LoveChampions get knocked down by life, they always seem to get back up again to have faith in all that they're still believing in.

The starting point of the conscious creation process for all LoveChampions is vibration. They understand the relationship between thoughts and feelings. They know how to manifest positive outcomes. And they do their best to marry the soul, mind, heart, and body together to intentionally live into all that they are and all that they love. They channel the energy they're generating into all they're dreaming of. They stay mindful of what they are creating and all that needs to be developed in accordance. And they're willing to organize around whatever allows for that positivity.

The second step of the conscious creation process is frequency. Frequency is a progression in concentrated energy that occurs each time you hold a certain vibration for a sustained amount of time. The higher your vibrational frequency, the higher the consciousness you can tap into when it comes to what you love and what you're organizing around.

The third step of the conscious creation process is energy. If vibration is all about reflecting on the love that's within yourself and establishing positive concentrated energy flows through all that you're visualizing, and frequency is all about planning and organizing around those love vibrations as you hold them, then energy is about channeling all that's being transformed by those frequencies. It's about allowing those things to direct your actions into all that's being created and spiritually executed against― so that it gets brought to life exactly as it was imagined, felt, and envisioned.

Timothy-Christian says, "The Marathon Of Life: Running Your Own Race is a 'blueprint for living' that you can use to more quickly and more consciously create yourself and all that's divinely waiting for you. A hands-on guide to becoming a LoveChampion, rediscovering purpose, and more fully living into all that dreams are made of." He adds, "At least that's what it's been for me anyway. And that is what I wish for all of my readers as well. Love and the power to personify it a little more each day. Blessings."

Timothy-Christian

Timothy-Christian is an actor, entrepreneur, and life coach. He is also the author of several books and founder of LoveChampions LLC, an organization dedicated to helping individuals consciously create themselves daily over time and live into all that love makes possible. After spending years straddling the corporate and entertainment industries as an engineer at NBCUniversal and actor, Timothy began to see a direct correlation between what powers businesses on to victory and how individuals could apply those very same concepts within their own projects to achieve their own championships. He discovered that creativity is something inherent within each of us, and that to fully unleash that gift, it must be balanced out with a little bit of structure and a whole lot of love! This book is the foundational theory behind that revelation and other core philosophies that make up the LoveChampions® movement.

Aladtec Announces New Integration with ESO Firehouse Software

Fire and EMS agencies who use Aladtec Scheduling and Workforce Management software and Firehouse records management software can now save time and keystrokes with a new integration.

With this integration, the Aladtec schedule automatically populates ESO Firehouse' daily rosters, eliminating the mundane, error-prone task of duplicating roster data. When schedules change, Aladtec seamlessly updates the daily roster.

The Crystal Lake (IL) Fire Dept. has used Aladtec for its scheduling since 2013, but all records for training, inspections, and NFIRS reside in the ESO Firehouse database.

Battalion Chief Bill Whyte said Crystal Lake's 69 members -- including 15 paramedics per shift -- answers about 17 calls daily from three stations serving 56,000 people and about 51 square miles.

Whyte wasn't doing reports when he "started as a blue-shirt" back in 1996, but record-keeping then was exactly like a scene from the firefighting drama-thriller movie "Backdraft."

"They talk about a book, where they write down the calls. When I started, we were practically right there. It was a logbook -- graph paper, time, and where we went. The lieutenant would write in it every day."

"I've been involved in keeping records for the last 17 years, I can tell you, we went from growing that, into more of a paper form … It's come a long way. There's still ways to go, but yes -- it's changed tremendously," said Whyte.

The Aladtec integration "simplifies having to add the people every time you go on a call, on every rig. So now when you pick up to add the personnel, it's already there."

"Whether it's a simple burning complaint to a structure fire, all of our calls go through the exact same process," Whyte explained. "The people responding to the call -- if it's an ambulance crew, then the senior paramedic is the one in charge, and he'd be the one responsible for starting and completing the initial report. On a structure fire, it's usually the first-arriving officer who's in charge of starting the report.

"Once that is done, the company's officer is responsible for reviewing that report. Then me, as battalion chief, I review all of my reports as a shift commander in charge of 20 people at the end of my shift. And me, being in charge of the statistics and all that stuff, once a month, I review the entire month again, then I go through the process of creating the file to send to the state," said Whyte.

"The good thing, it changes because we have multiple people who change at different times of day for different reasons, so all that movement is captured in the roster because it goes along with the (Aladtec scheduling) program."

"It does save a lot of time and is more consistent in the documentation, 'cause guys make mistakes all the time. It's one thing for a simple ambulance call in the same house, but sometimes on a structure fire, they don't always remember whose on this engine, because they're not in the same house. The bigger the call, the more vehicles, the more efficient they become in doing the report. It makes it quicker and more accurate," Whyte said. Click here to read the latest news.

Harrisburg (NC) Fire has used Aladtec for its scheduling since 2015, and ll records for training, inspections, and NFIRS reside in the ESO Firehouse database.

Battalion Chief Tim Wooten said Harrisburg's 42 members work three shifts from three stations, responding to 2,546 incidents last year -- about 56 percent of which were medical calls. They cover an area of about 32 square miles and 20,000 people, just north of Charlotte.
Each shift is led by a battalion chief, overseeing captains, engineers, and firefighters. Continue reading.

Previous to importing the integration, the reporting officer would need to identify each individual and which apparatus they rode. "This could be somewhat time-consuming with the amount of swaps, trades, and transfers we do as a small department," said Wooten. "We had groups set up, but with our frequent changes, those groups only worked some of the time."

Wooten estimates the integration saves a few minutes on each report completed, "however for the ease of entering the proper personnel in an accurate and timely manner; it has been a great addition. We were seeing some errors with all our personnel changes, and users were just not checking to assure the correct people were listed."

Firing up the integration wasn't tough, said Wooten.

"I would suggest that the user have a good understanding of the Specific IDs and how those relate to the individuals in Firehouse and Aladtec. Also, the process of our setup was made easier as we had our truck schedules built already in Firehouse."

Aladtec will announce new integrations soon.
