Two New Hires Accelerate T2 Tech Group’s Versatility and Agility

Los Angeles-based T2 Tech Group (T2 Tech) recently added Engineer, Jonathan Aparicio and Assistant Controller, Chelsey Ernstoff to its responsive consulting team, emphasizing IT capabilities and rapid project development.

Jonathan Aparicio joins the T2 Tech engineering team and brings demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure assessment, configuration, installation and implementation of hardware and software. He will provide support and maintenance for end users within diverse and dynamic server, desktop and mobile computing environments for several clients. Aparicio was previously a Tier 1 support technician at Adroit Worldwide Media, where he was the primary point of contact for national and international infrastructure configuration, installation and support. How Pet Lovers Can ‘Pay It Forward’ To Help Homeless Dogs and Cats

When Marina Barton walked into the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Mission Hills last July, she knew she wanted to open her heart and her home to two adult cats.

Since there weren't any bonded pairs, Barton fell in love with Barclay and Chance, two tabby bachelor boys, and hoped they'd eventually form the classic bromance.

Almost a year later, the two are best buddies who snuggle, play, and thoroughly enchant their mom. "It felt like a big risk that Barclay and Chance would get along, but they're inseparable now," Barton said.

What she didn't know that fateful day was that someone had paid for Barclay and Chance's adoption fees through Best Friends' Pay It Forward campaign. Upon hearing the news that her adoptions were free, Barton immediately opted to Pay It Forward herself. Click here to read the latest news.

"I was very excited to help out another cat besides the two I was taking home," she said. "I had chosen Best Friends because I believed they were helping as many pets as possible and Pay It Forward reassured me that I made the right decision."

Best Friends is asking pet lovers to help create happy adoption stories like Barclay and Chance's this weekend, April 26 to 28, just in time for International Pay It Forward Day on April 28. Each $25 donation will cover or discount the adoption fee of a homeless dog or cat from Best Friends or one of its Network Partners across the country.

The TKEYCOIN CEOs Participated in The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA)

From 18 to 21 April, the Standing Committee on Economics and Sustainable Development of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) organized an ordinary meeting. During this meeting, TKEY, a famous group of IT companies, presented a report about the importance and the prospects for integrated digitalization of the basic governmental institutions and different economic and social spheres.

Among discussions of recently adopted resolutions, proposing amendments and ratifications of agreements, Maxim Yakimov, a TKEY CEO, had the only speech about a business presentation in the APA agenda. Without a doubt, this fact mirrors the significance of the issue for the improvement of society, business, and the state in general. This event enjoyed a large presence, being attended by many representatives from the national parliaments of the APA member states (today the assembly includes 58 states, with 42 permanent member states and 16 observer states, and 9 major international organizations). A member of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, Alexey Lyashchenko, was the inter-parliamentary meeting speaker.

Amid this meeting, several discussions revolved around the prospects of creating and developing a digital environment for several important areas of domestic and international markets and eliminating restrictions for breakthrough technology solutions that can increase the efficiency of interactions between the players of different industries and decision makers on domestic and international levels.

The representatives of the senior management of TKEY group of companies — Pavel Yakimov (the Director of Information Technologies) and Maxim Yakimov attended these discussions. Both of them recommended several approaches to develop a digital framework that can combat money laundering, and also illustrated open investments platforms, security and data exchange systems that are based on TKEY distributed solutions.

The parliamentarians acknowledged that blockchain technologies extremely important for satisfying the immediate needs of society and they can improve the social and financial status of citizens. These provisions will be contained within a resolution as a series of amendments, that will be discussed during the next APA meeting.

Most of the APA participants were very interested and paid attention to the information that was presented in the report, but also to the arguments that were exchanged during the discussions. During an informal meeting, the leaders of TKEY group and several representatives of countries that showed interest in developing a digital economy talked about the problems regarding the implementation of blockchain systems at the state level, and made preliminary deals about pilot projects, setting the stage for further cooperation.

LJA Enginering is proud to be involved in the planning and design of Angel Reach's Transitional Living Center, a new neighborhood in Conroe, Texas.

Each year 200-300 youth age out of foster care in the greater Houston area. Angel Reach is a non-profit organization that helps youth who have aged out of the foster care system and are homeless between the ages of 16-24, many times involved in illegal activities such as gangs, drugs, or human trafficking. Angel Reach brings them into group homes and teaches them life skills, gives counseling, and helps them earn their GED and driver's license and find suitable jobs. Angel Reach provides them with two years of support to take the next steps towards an independent life, until they can move into their own apartment.

"This is one of those jobs we do for the passion. It started with several group homes in the Conroe area, and we are helping Angel Reach to develop a vision for a neighborhood that can house as many as 100 young adults, and expand their services. The neighborhood land plan has a Main Street with housing on either side and an additional community building for counseling, training, and group gatherings. We have worked with the team to create a design that The City of Conroe can support. Tattoo'd America, the first interactive experience at Pop Vegas located at The LINQ Promenade in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, is now open.

Tattoo'd America celebrates the artistic, provocative and expressive qualities—as well as the sex appeal—of tattoo and body art.
