Line 6 Expands Shuriken Variax Family with Shuriken Variax SR250 Guitar

Line 6® today introduced the Shuriken® Variax® SR250 guitar. Featuring the same unique contoured body shape and powerful Variax HD technology as the longer-scale Shuriken Variax SR270, the Shuriken Variax SR250 features a traditional 25.5" scale length that will feel familiar to many guitarists, offering exceptional versatility for a wide range of musical styles.

"The original Shuriken Variax guitar has been embraced by guitarists who appreciate the limitless creative possibilities it provides," said Marcus Ryle, co-founder and President, Line 6. "The Shuriken Variax SR250 offers guitarists the choice of a familiar 25.5" scale length or, with the SR270, players get a longer 27" scale length. Both guitars offer unmatched versatility for any performance scenario."

Shuriken Variax guitars are modern, high-quality instruments that were developed through a collaboration between Shuriken Guitars, Line 6, and Yamaha® Guitar Development.

The Shuriken Variax SR250 allows guitarists to venture beyond the ranges of conventional 6-, 7-, or even 8-string guitars. Variax HD technology provides immediate access to a wide range of guitar models and alternate tunings simply by twisting a knob. Custom guitar models and alternate tunings can also be saved as presets. Guitarists can also design custom instruments and tunings, then load them into the guitar as presets using the free Workbench HD application.

Although the Shuriken Variax SR250 can easily be incorporated into any guitar rig, pairing it with Line 6 Helix®, POD® HD, or Firehawk® modelers unlocks its full potential. Guitarists can create custom presets that change tunings and amp, effect, and guitar model settings, all with the touch of a footswitch.

Pricing & Availability
Shuriken Variax SR250 ($2099.99 MSRP) is scheduled to be available in the U.S. June 2018 and worldwide July 2018. Learn more at https://line6.com/variax-modeling-guitars/shuriken/ Read all the latest news.

The durable Shanik Manual Coffee Grinder—constructed with premium brushed stainless steel 304 on the body, handle and knob—is guaranteed to be kept and used for a lifetime. For better usage, the product includes a built-in, adjustable grind selector that provides the exact desired coarseness for maximum flavor extraction. Typically, a scoop is needed to get the perfect measurements for a cup of coffee; however, a scoop is not needed for this product because the measuring container already included in it ensures a precise brew each time. This simple feature upgrade now only requires turning the handle clockwise until the coffee beans are sufficient for the consumer. Continue reading.

Another feature that makes the manual grinder unique is its removable silicone lid. The sturdy lid keeps leftover coffee grounds freshly sealed inside the cup and readily available for later use. A thick silicone grip was added on the cup for better handling. Storing the product in one piece after each use is easy with the velvet drawstring bag that is included with each purchase. In addition, Shanik's lightweight, cordless, battery-free grinder allows for traveling with ease, enabling consumers to enjoy freshly-brewed coffee wherever and whenever they want. The product also features a durable, conical ceramic burr, which is the part that conducts heat away from the beans to the water.

Besides providing consumers an array of upgraded features, the Shanik Manual Coffee Grinder is available at a very competitive and affordable price. As an additional benefit, the company is dedicated to offering high-quality service to make sure consumers are happy with their purchase. "We value our customers and work hard to ensure their complete satisfaction," said owner Bezhad Nikzad. "Before, during and after every sale, we are there to answer any questions and to provide them with the best online shopping experience possible."

Shanik is also a socially-conscious company that gives back to the global community. World of Shanik supports children who suffer from a group of rare skin diseases known as Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Its dedicated efforts are done through a non-profit organization called Heal Child Skin Disease, which currently sponsors more than 400 children from low-income families. By purchasing Shanik products, consumers can directly help raise funding to go toward treatment for those who suffer from the effects of EB. Shanik prides itself on high quality being its mission and helping to heal is its passion.

Keeping Pets Safe and Healthy during Summer's Dog Days

The three "H"s of summer – haze, heat and humidity -- are back and will take their toll on pets as well as people in the weeks ahead. Be alert to read related news.

"Our dogs suffer from the heat and humidity, just as we do," says Traci Simo of Canine Company. "We need to take steps to keep them safe from common summer health problems like heat exhaustion, dehydration and parasites." She offers these tips for keeping the family dog healthy, even in extreme heat.

Preventing Heat Exhaustion and Dehydration.
"Although puppies and older dogs are at greatest risk, any pet can fall victim," says Simo. To prevent these problems:

Protecting from Skin Irritation and Parasites.
"A pet's coat provides protection from sun and parasites. It also creates a layer of insulation to keep cool air near the skin," says Simo. "That's why coat care is so important in the summer."

"When it comes to summer heat, if you are feeling uncomfortable, you should assume your dog is, too," says Simo. "But with just a few precautions like these, you can keep your pet safe and comfortable all season."
