Today, Lexie, who learned to swim at her first camp and has since gone on to become an AKC Dock Diving National Champion, oversees the camp's dog activities with her younger sister Kaylee, while founding ambassadog Jessie runs the Heaven Chapter of Canine Camp Getaway. "We always say that our dog vacations are 'heaven on earth' for dogs, so it only makes sense that when they leave this earth, they get to enjoy the 'heaven on heaven' version of dog camp!" she quips.

Over the past decade, the twice-annual vacations have attracted guests from all over the country and Canada. "People will go to the ends of the earth if it means their dog will have a really good time," Costa maintains. "And with all the opportunities to romp, play, swim, hike, run agility and find treats...well, if you're a dog, it doesn't get much better than this!"

< p>But it's not just about the dogs, Costa maintains. "Dogs teach us valuable lessons about life and love; about slowing down and living in the moment; about the value of playtime and vacation…and most of all, about making memories with the ones you love. Giving back is also an important part of Canine Camp Getaway's mission, and over the past decade, the camps have raised more than $35,000 for animal charities and rescues, from canine cancer research and service dog organizations to a charity that cares for dogs of deployed military to a variety of dog rescue groups in the U.S. and Canada.

Owlet Raises $24 Million in Series B Funding

Owlet Baby Care, today announced the closing of a $24 million Series B investment. The round was led by Trilogy Equity Partners, with participation from existing investors, including Eclipse Ventures, Broadway Angels, and Enfield Ventures, and the addition Pelion Venture Partners. The additional funding will enable the company to accelerate its growth through the launch of additional products, continued international expansion, and help make the product accessible to more families. In connection with the financing, Amy McCullough, Managing Director at Trilogy Equity Partners, will join Owlet's board of directors.

Owlet is a venture-backed startup best known for its flagship product, the Smart Sock baby monitor, which uses pulse oximetry to track a baby's heart rate and oxygen levels while sleeping. In 2017, Owlet launched the Connected Care platform which prov ides parents with more comprehensive data analysis and trends based on biometric information about their baby, including heart rate, oxygen levels, sleep trends and red notification history. NetNumber Expands Number Portability Coverage

NetNumber announced it has added another dozen countries to its Global Number Portability (NP) solution, offered as part of NetNumber's Global Data Services (GDS). GDS is a cloud-service that utilizes the NetNumber TITAN platform to deliver multiple data services to telco operators and enterprises around the globe. NetNumber now offers NP data via data bases or referral query services for 90 countries. Texas Fertility Center and Ovation Fertility™ Announce Recipient of RESOLVE Advocacy Day Grant

Texas Fertility Center (TFC) and Ovation Fertility are proud to announce the recipient of the Advocacy Day grant. Erin Steward, a TFC and Ovation Fertility patient, will receive the grant to cover the cost of attending RESOLVE Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., on May 23.

To be considered for the grant, which was cosponsored by TFC and Ovation Fertility, applicants were asked to submit a fertility story. An independent, 12-person committee with a background in infertility reviewed all of the submissions to make the final selection. Erin's story about her struggle to conceive her daughter and her efforts to have another baby helped secure her place as the grant recipient.

Writes Erin in her submission: "I hope that you, in your positions of power, will see me and hear my story, and understand that I am not unique— I am not an exception. I am not the first to suffer marital problems or experience depression as a result of my infertility. I am not the first to struggle with how to pay bills or make ends meet… I am a wife, mother, daughter and now, an advocate. I am asking for your help in addressing infertility."

Erin will not be attending RESOLVE Advocacy Day alone. She will join her husband, Justin and Kaylen Silverberg M.D., the medical director of TFC – and the fertility specialist who treated her. As a well-known champion of accessible fertility care, Dr. Silverberg regularly attends the annual event to speak to members of Con gress about important issues in reproductive care.

According to Dr. Silverberg, "We were thrilled with the response to our request for Advocacy Day grant submissions. Although we can only provide one grant, all applicants will travel to Washington, D.C., in a different way, as Erin and I will be bringing their stories with us to share with lawmakers on Capitol Hill."

During RESOLVE Advocacy Day, Erin will attend lobbying workshops in which Dr. Silverberg and other experienced advocates will teach attendees how to effectively lobby their congressional delegation. She will then have the opportunity to speak to members of Congress on behalf of the infertility community.

"Not everyone has the resources or skills to attend Advocacy Day, but every fertility patient has a story to tell. Texas Fertility Center and Ovation Fertility are proud to give Erin the opportunity to attend this special even t and make her voice heard on Capitol Hill," Dr. Silverberg said.
