"Successful Aging" is hosted by John Wenzlau and Millie Oakeson, where each week they delve into different aspects for living well and loving life. The hosts asked Dr. Greene all about the basics of stem cell therapy, including explaining how the cells work, where they come from along with regulatory questions. Dr. Greene's company has been providing regenerative therapies nationwide for eight years and over 13,000 procedures have been performed. R3 Stem Cell's network utilizes "best practice" protocols and have never had a significant adverse event.

According to Dr. Greene, "Our patient satisfaction exceeds 85% after a year, and the stem cell biologics being used are all regulated by the FDA. We have seen many lives changed dramatically since I started R3 Stem Cell, it's been extremely gratifying and exciting!"

The hosts asked about where the biologics come from, which is an ethical process. Women under the age of 35 who are undergoing a scheduled c-section may donate their birth tissue. There is no harm to the baby or the mother.

One question the hosts had was whether or not stem cell therapy can cure a medical condition. Dr. Greene responded, "That's one thing a lot of people don't understand. Current stem cell therapy can work great, but it is not a cure for medical conditions. The DNA in the umbilical cord stem cells therapy does not actually become part of the patient's DNA."

In addition, Dr. Greene discussed the R3 Stem Cell Heroes Program. The program offers military veterans and first responders free regenerative therapies at one of the R3 Training Workshops. Over 100 Heroes have been treated since the program began. Recipients have included policemen, Vietnam veterans, paramedics, and others.

R3 Stem Cell has over 40 Centers of Excellence nationwide, all of which offer a free consultation for patients. Additional information is available at https://r3stemcell.com and appointments can be scheduled by calling (844) GET-STEM.
