THE NALA and its Cause Marketing Program Celebrate a Year of Giving

Through collecting baby and school supplies, and shoes, toys and coats, THE NALA, a nationwide digital marketing agency, charity efforts in 2019 made a major impact, locally, nationally and worldwide. Most recently, THE NALA hosted a successful donation drive for Operation Warm, a national nonprofit that makes brand new, high-quality winter coats and gives them away to children in need. "We raised enough for Operation Warm to make 50 winter coats for kids in need nationwide," said Tiffani Tendell, Vice President - Communications and Business Development at THE NALA. "These coats not only keep kids warm, but promote self-esteem, school attendance and outdoor play."

Along with a number of clients that hosted Operation Warm donation drives, THE NALA's businesses collected hundreds of toys for Toys for Tots in time for Christmas and collected more than 1,500 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls, a nonprofit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing. One of its clients, Caribe Resort, collected more than 640 pairs. The shoes help people in developing nations start and sustain their own small businesses and step out of poverty.

To date, Soles4Souls, which THE NALA has been working with for a decade, has distributed more than 35 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and generated over $250 million in economic impact.

For years, in fact, THE NALA, as part of its collective cause marketing program, has encouraged its clients to host fundraising campaigns for its many charity partners. In addition to Operation Warm, Toys for Tots and Soles4Souls, its long list of affiliated national and local non-profits includes Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, Operation Homefront, The Greatest Generations Foundation, Crisis Aid International, Dream With Me Foundation, and StandUp For Kids, among others.
