Earthy Bikini (http://www.earthybikini.com), Katie Goodwin's bikini line is manufactured from plastics made from Ocean trash. Goodwin came up with the idea several years ago after visiting several beaches on holiday. After seeing so much plastic trash piling up on these beautiful beaches all over the world, Goodwin decided to do something about it. Earthy Bikini was created from Goodwin's passion for the ocean as an avid surfer and beach goer. Even before Goodwin had any knowledge of how to reclaim ocean plastic trash and manufacture it into a line of gorgeous bikinis, she would sketch the design and dream of doing something positive for the environment.
After years of trial and error, she finally found a manufacturer who had the experience and understanding of the unique requirements to design the most beautiful and comfortable bikinis in the world. Creating a company that can help save the Oceans still blows Goodwin's mind, "If you told me a couple of years ago, that I would have an incredible company selling beautiful bikinis all over the world while helping with the eco-crisis of polluting the oceans I wouldn't have believed you. I am so humbled by the response and love for what we are doing."

Several months ago, Goodwin decided to increase the eco-advocacy she needed to find a non-profit to partner with and provide some of her revenue to an organization that everyday somewhere around the world had volunteers cleaning beaches and the oceans of plastic trash. While attending dental school in Plymouth, England, Katie came across Big Blue Ocean Cleanup (http://www.bigblueoceancleanup.org), (@bigblueoceancleanup) and reviewed their work and global reach and fell in love. As a non-profit located less than 2 hours from her University, Katie knew she found her partner. After reviewing all of their great works and volunteerism, Katie has agreed to provide ten percent (10%) of Earthy Bikini's net profits back to Big Blue Ocean Cleanup. This is truly a passion for Goodwin, "I am so happy to have the support of an amazing non-profit like Big Blue Ocean Cleanup. They are so incredibly dedicated to the same cause that I am so passionate about. I hope I can provide a lot of funding for their amazing work. We will work tirelessly to do just that."
