Children of America® Opens 2nd Location in Queens, NY

Children of America ®, one of the nation's fastest growing Educational Childcare companies for children six weeks to five years old, is pleased to announce the opening of its second facility in Queens, located in Queens Village. To celebrate this milestone, COA is inviting the community to attend its Open House Grand Opening Event at the center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 10th, at 113-09 Springfield Blvd., Queens Village, NY 11429.

At this free event, open to the community, children can participate in a variety of activities including a face painting, games and a contest to win prizes, all set in a preschool environment.

With greater national emphasis on educational development during the most crucial years of a child's growth, a prominent focus at COA is placed on programs that create a foundation for scholastic advancement and prepare students for success beyond their formative years. "As the population of preschool-age children and the demand for quality early education continues to rise, we are committed to doing our part to create a safe, secure learning environment and strong educational foundation for all our students which will have an important impact on the future of the community," said Jim Perretty, Chairman.

Children of America brings to Queens Village, its one-of-a-kind Success through Academic Readiness (STAR) Curriculum and enrichment programs that have been developed over 20 years of experience in the early childhood education industry. Our proprietary programming, COA Mind & Body Matters, approach to early learning includes early literacy programs, sign language, physical fitness, nutrition, reading mastery, and many more programs that have proven to dramatically impact the lives of young children.

Queens Village is the second of eight facilities the company plans to open over the next 3 years in the area. Having built its business on developing and retaining teachers we recognize one of the unique challenges of doing business in the NYC boroughs is the cost of living. With a current minimum wage of $15 an hour Children of America is committed to addressing these challenges by offering an aggressive compensation plan for our teachers which includes; a company minimum wage of $17 an hour for Assistant Teachers and $19 an hour for state certified lead teachers. Additionally, during the first year of employment with COA, teachers receive a 50% discount for our top-rated childcare services, and after one year of continuous employment, teachers receive childcare services free of charge. The increase in starting minimum salaries and the childcare benefit puts Children of America on the competitive track with NYC public school teachers. We are committed to providing an environment rich in opportunities and growth for families and staff! APPLY TODAY. Be alert to read related news.
